If you keep loading the last checkpoint it might be somewhere else
I changed the multiplier on bullet damage from 0 to 3x and guns actually make sense now! you don't have to be constantly looking for a better one and they are actually useful, you can take out most of those big zombies with a few shots to the head, but you will have problem finding ammo anyways, so it's still quite balanced.
If you're looking to mod the game, i really recommend doing that and removing bloom/motion blur, the game feels infinitely better.
This game is quite buggy. The singleplayer at least. Like this one house, before you go in, you can look the insides of the house by looking through a window. the house appears empty.
but once you actually go in through a door, suddenly the house is stuffed and the windows are actually closed!

Also the character responses when they are "terrified" or something. A single Zombie is on the ground, you poke him with a knife/stick, your character states "what the hell!" :v:

So I was on the mission where you have to get juice for the survivors, and I spent about an hour trying to find out where to put the juice, and it turns out it was right in front of me.
And that's the end of my story.

It's quite generic.
The only way I'd imagine myself enjoying the singleplayer at least is by turning off the Health and Damage indicators. Some other stuff too like.. what was it? Some enhanced tips or other unnecessary things.

I've only played singleplayer and I've found it fun.
I also find it fun to use only my fists and punch zombies to death.
you guys probably already know this, but if you press your throw weapon button then your attack button in rapid succession, you will do an alternate attack

The combat itself can get sort of boring early on, but it's awesome later when you deal with larger hordes of zombies, different kinds of enemies, customize your weapons, get to take advantage of all the open-world activities, etc.

I dunno why, but it rarely works for me, doing the special attack to knock the enemy unconscious by pressing lmb and rmb simultaneously

chainsaw is pretty underwhelming.
I really want to try a fists-only run. I honestly don't think it'd be that difficult. The only problem is suiciders and looters...
before i realized weapons degraded i was like why the fuck do my fists do so much dmg compared to my wrench and did it for like the first 2 chapters

Wow, the game got fucking hard once I got into the city.
The fucking runners keep reducing my health to a bar and a half, so then I end up getting one-shotted by a random walker.
So now I'm pretty much out of money and will soon have no good weapons. Which means I will die more. Which means I will lose more money.
How will you lose more money if you have none to lose?

You're lucky. Just about every sound in the game has static for me.
But it worked fine on the first and second day of release and then completely fucked up until now.

if you sprint past a suicider close enough you will be able to run past him and get away as he blows up. i do it all the time. you can also run up turn around and sprint but you risk not getting away in time sometimes.
