Hopefully Techland won't screw this game up, it has so much potential...

I hate it when trailers use super graphics and effects, and it turns out the real game looks grainy and choppy.

Did you hear CNN bitching about Dead Island? Well, it wasn't them complaining, but it's pretty easy to infer the opinion of the author of the article. They mainly went on and on about involving children in violent scenes, at one they said that the girl was eaten by zombies. What?

I'm guessing its cost effective for the publishers too instead of buying the developers the tools.

From what I understand Techland isn't a mega company that has it's own section that just does movies...

I think even Square-Enix uses other companies for Final Fantasies' CG clips.

I'm assuming it starts with you not knowing about the zombies then working with survivor groups to try and take back the island/your girlfriend.
