Depends on your character, but for all characters as soon as you level up, get the rage skill (far left branch).
Also in the prologue, don't try to fight the infected, they're level 50, and you're level 1 and unarmed. You can't win.

I'm getting some godawful screeching sounds coming from Dead Island, in any other game it's okay. does anyone have any solutions to this godawful amount of crackling and screeching?

This is pissing me off; [sp]When you have to escort Ope to the boat, he just paces himself back and forth at that cliff. Played it about 40 times and he just keeps doing it. [/sp] I don't know how the devs thought that part was bug free, because almost everyone is getting it.
Any problems with making a backup of this game and then move it to another computer?

Nope, I zipped the game up, put it on my external hard drive and unzipped it to another PC without any hitches whatsoever.

Me too. It only comes out my right ear phone. I think I know which ear I'll get hearing loss in first.

Same with me, it only started happening when I was nearing Act 2, then as soon as Act 2 began, it was nothing but godawful screeching from my right ear phone.

I've looked at fixes such as changing the Audio Engine via the settings in My Documents/DeadIsland folder, to no avail, it's a little better, but it's still there, and it's raping my ears.
If they would fix the collision in this game, half of the cosmetic bugs would be fixed.
I might sell this, it has no replayability IMO and it gets boring after about Hal an hour, as for coop I had yet to find someone who isn't a fuckwit and I have no friends on ps3 that own this ''/

Really didn't expect my merge to break considering I posted this less than 5 seconds after the first.
If you're having audio problems the game for some reason cannot support 5.1 surround sound or anything above. I had the same problem and dropped my sound to 4.0 stereo and everything worked fine.
