Been able to try it. The game is okay, but I still can't stand the overly shaky cam. Does my character have Parkinson's disease or something, 'cause everytime I walk I can't freaking see straight with all that useless shaking.
In mirror's edge it was done much, much better, because the bobblehead effect was limited to a slight increasing with speed nodding when moving.

I was busy lobbing cleavers into it to notice, or sticks. Throwing shit at them is fun. Also, am I the only one who enjoys using the paddle? Even at level 33 I love the fucker, minimal damage but it's still fun to smash their face in with it.

Anyone else find Butchers to be really easy?
I remember this one time I was being chased down the road by one, I stopped, turned around with my short pride shotgun and blew him off his feet from about 10 feet away.
Sort of reminded me of the scene in Indiana Jones where he just shoots some evil looking guy after he completes some fancy blade dancing.

Yeah, they legitimately seem nice, but getting help is like pulling teeth. I got a key that doesn't work in my region (North America/ California) and just asked for a replacement key. It shouldn't take close to a week for that.

I fucking adore the blades in this game, especially when every other swing I take off something's head.
Also, I have most of the developer mods, and my personal favorites so far are the Mindblowing Military Knife, and the Homerun Baseball Bat. Seriously, any bat that lets me launch a zombie off a cliff is the best thing ever in my book.
My friend got me Dead Island from Intkeys, he got the key instantly, and the VPN shit is no hassle.
Does using the developer console mod work on legit Steam version without a risk of getting you VAC banned? Sorry, if this has been asked before.

Fuck everything about the central city. I'm just trying to pass through the god damn place and my map tracks keep leading me to dead ends, and fucking infected randomly spawn every 5 - 10 seconds already chasing you.
I must admit I loved the little touch at the beginning where if you turn left outside of your hotel room, you see where the trailer took place and you can see the couple their and even the axe. Very nice touch.

You can, scared the crap out of me in the city. I was moving slowly when I heard one mumbling, then it basically whispered that in my ear from behind and blew up, killing me.
Also my steam name is -Ghost- if anyone wants to do coop. I'm at the lab in the jungle, sitting around level 35 I think. I'm thinking I might try and tweak gun damage or something, I'd rather have the ammo be more rare but have it be more or less an instant kill for most zombies as well as humans.

Hint to all: For the love of christ, don't go anywhere near the white Red Cross tents in the city. Me and a two other guys thought we'd find some med-kits and such there but instead all we found was a CONSTANT stream of Infected. We all died multiple times and only managed to survive by getting back onto the roofs, which is hard because only one person can use the ladder at a time. I was last. :(

That was pretty much the first place in the city that I explored, I was about to throw my screen out the window
