The only thing I disagree with on the blood is that if you hit a zombie and their blood splatters on a wall, it will spread UP the wall.

Is anyone else getting startup problems? It says I'm playing it each time I run it for about 5 seconds before going back to as it was before. Any solutions? Tried googling but no help as of yet.
EDIT: Tried viewing integrity of game cache too, which didn't work.

Just completed the game, I'm level 39 right now and 30 hours of playtime.
My friend does not like this game for being too easy and repetive because you can win by mashing e
I never had a problem with butchers, one shotgun blast is all it's ever taken me to kill one. I love their appearance, though.
The only time I had a butcher actually be threatening was when he completely ninja'd me and attacked me from behind as I was entering a warehouse. His life was measured in seconds after that.
To me, the hardest special infected were the Floaters, as of now I have no issue with them but when they were first introduced it took me AGES to kill them. Their vomit also hurts like hell when they spread it in an arc.

Me thinks your laptop is overheating. Do you have v-sync enabled?
V-sync will cap the framerate so that your gpu temps will not go so high.
Enable it, if it is not already enabled. You might also want to limit your processor power if you have that option.
Laptops don't have very good cooling. Game will still run fine on high, with these changes, if you have a decent laptop.

What's wrong with the MP? I finished the whole game in coop last weekend, no problems whatsoever.

LAN didn't work, but after we were both on the same hamachi network and were in an online internet game, we stopped losing connection. Without it, after 5-10 minutes both of us would get dropped and no longer able to see each others game until we rebooted the game entirely.
It does need a proper fix, but if you don't want to wait, try using that method. Worked for us.
I also like how people are rating you two dumb just because they didn't have the issue themselves. If you don't encounter it, that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
