I got a Dead Island key. PM me if you want to buy it.
Are diamonds used in any crafting? I recently found 14 bottles in that city supermarket and am going to turn them in to that drunk chick when I get a chance.
The story on this is like watching the tales of the [sp]dumbastic four, ending made me cry.[/sp] [sp]How the fuck are going to get the AL-Qaeda yakuza muslim chinese terrorist gordon freeman hacker out of the island if it's protected by the whole fucking navy ?[/sp]

The only purpose for diamonds is to be used in dev crafts, or to be sold.
Anyone else having sound issues where sounds from NPCs, zombies, etc. can't play from both sides of the speakers (center)? I can hear my own character perfectly.
So once you max out Sam B's combat skill tree (i.e. get the bonus that allows double-foot curbstomping), the game becomes a complete joke. [editline]16th September 2011[/editline] The insta-stun move (both mouse buttons at once) works with bare hands, by the way, which is how that was possible. It's functionally the exact same thing as a flying kick except it uses nearly no stamina.

Just got the game off someone via steam trading, installing as we speak. Anyone up for co-op?
[sp]The helicopter was a Navy one so they wouldn't shoot it down.[/sp]
Holy shit, I just had the same convo a day ago. [sp]The Navy would have investigated the helicopter, and it doesn't have enough fuel to reach papa new guinea on it's own. It was either they land there, and somehow kill everyone there, or be shot down, due to the fact that if Ryder had parked there, there was a chance that the prisoners would overwhelm the unit, and hijack the heli. This didn't happen, as our heros did the same thing.[/sp]

Now that I know it works with hands though, oh man.
hey i found the purple skull where does it go and what does it do
Youtube it, purple skull gives you a crafting recipie for a knife that's made primarily for Logan and throwing it. It has +75% crit chance and it instakills any walker or infected it crits.

Anyone elses ripper dlc vanished?
No boomerang, but with logans throwing crit maxed out, you'll have greater than 100%, and if you have his splash damage skill, it affects every walker and infected in range. I usually keep a couple just to clear out trash. At least until I accidentally deleted the wrong save file :v:
hey everyone look! it's borderlands zombie edition!

Oh come on now. I love the game, just trying to put in some humor. :(
Oh come on now. I love the game, just trying to put in some humor. :(
Well you can't really tell that through text, but okay. Besides, Borderlands has Dr.Zed.
Well you can't really tell that through text, but okay. Besides, Borderlands has Dr.Zed.
And the Dr. Zed DLC sucked asshole. :\
Meh, I got bored with Borderlands, go figure, I didn't see enough variety in the weapons and stuff.
I was playing this with my friend earlier, and i just started the game as the black dude. So we start it up and i walk to the elevator, and the people fall, and the black dude is surprised and steps back, and my friend says "Man, These white people crazy..." The rest of the game consisted of us acting like a ghetto black guy.
I should get a fucking metal for killing a thug with a juice pack
Does anybody have any issues starting up Dead Island without an internet connection? It doesn't matter if Steam is online or offline, as along as the internet is on then Dead Island can start up and won't need any further connection. It's a bit of an annoyance, so if anybody has a fix could they post it?
The greatest weapon against zombies is not a blade or a gun, BUT THE POWER OF VITAMIN C
[sp]The helicopter was a Navy one so they wouldn't shoot it down.[/sp]
So i just strap a few logos and i can go anywhere ? riight. It doesn't make any sense, all of it. [sp]If they're going to make a sequel it better start with the chopper getting blown up to pieces by one of the carrier's AA, a good start to give the whole thing some sense, then the infection spreads to Australia and you have new survivors that aren't a bunch of idiots.[/sp]
