I just finished the game, i expected different thing that i saw in it. When i watched first trailer of Dead Island i thought, that it's going to be survival horror zombie game like if you got hurt you need bandages to prevent bleeding, etc. But it was more like Arcade not Survival. But i like this game because of coop, it's fun playing with friends and killing zombies together.
They all have different skills so keeping skills would not work.
Will Jin still have the stuff i stored with her if i chnage chars?
Will Jin still have the stuff i stored with her if i chnage chars?
I believe not.
fuck.
High voltage shock mod thingy fucking rules supreme
Seriously though, did Jin get raped in prison?
Seriously though, did Jin get raped in prison?
[sp]Not in prison, in the police station [/sp] [editline]18th September 2011[/editline]
you can hear the music from the first trailer in the hotel manager room thing, this one
That trailer looked shit IMO
High voltage shock mod thingy fucking rules supreme
I think Short-Circuit is a higher tier of it, with Old Smokey being the highest.
If you actually read the descriptions of the mods, some of the descriptions seem really... I dunno, weird? Almost like they were written by someone with only a loose grasp on the English language. :v:
Seriously though, did Jin get raped in prison?
Nah they just kept her there for her fun personality and to put stuff in her
you can hear the music from the first trailer in the hotel manager room thing, this one
You can hear it in a lot of places, if I recall correctly [sp]the house where you kill Mugambe's wife and child has a radio playing that song somewhere in it.[/sp]
Is it bad that Act 1 only took about 45 minutes for me to get through? I feel like I didn't do enough exploring/missions in act1 (I got nail'd mod though)
Doesn't matter, you can always go back to the previous areas.
So once i beat the game for the second time, Is it over?
Old Smokey with a military machete looks so badass
Anyone have any tips on good weapons for xian? Because i'm on my second playthrough and i'm still running around with my cheap level 10-20 machetes and the first guns i picked up.
I would reccomend a sickle. I wish I hadn't lost mine. :C You can decapitate in one hit easily, that's how it was for me.
Hey, I've got a problem. I'm trying to play Dead Island with my friend but the moment he connects, both sides start hearing extremely loud humming and it will only turn off when he disconnects. We didn't even have microphones plugged in and it still happened. What do I do?

How do i get like the really good weapons? The ones where when you go to upgrade they're at the bottom? Any specific quests or w/e?
How do i get like the really good weapons? The ones where when you go to upgrade they're at the bottom? Any specific quests or w/e?
chests typically are the place to go to find them some quests give you really good weapons as rewards though too. like at the church in the city there's a dude that gives you a beastly desert eagle that you end up using for like the rest of the game
So I open this chest and I find an orange knife, I'm all like , then I look at the stats, it's 5 levels below me and it's weaker than my green scythe, now I'm all like :suicide:.

Colors don't mean anything, I've had white weapons better than purple ones.
Got it working and played quite a long time with MasterG (Jackald) This game is fucking awesome
Colors don't mean anything, I've had white weapons better than purple ones.
Well, colors do indicate better weapons if compared to equal-leveled weapons. Like, a golden level 30 mace is most definitely better than a white level 30 mace, but not nearly as good as a white level 40 mace. [editline]18th September 2011[/editline] Also, I haven't found a single heavy pistol yet, aside from the one from Mugambe's quest. And I sold that one immediately since it paled in comparison to my Magnum. Is this unusual?
Color quality also determines how much bonus stats you get from upgrades. The only weapons I found where color doesn't really matter were Firearms. Upgrading them does virtually nothing and is stupidly expensive.
i've yet to loot anything above white from boxes
Colors don't mean anything, I've had white weapons better than purple ones.
Unfortunately colored weapons cost more in the store even if they suck ass.
Saw Orange weapon in shop at my level, I go to upgrade it, it stops at 3 because for some reason it's on 99%, so I can't upgrade damaged weapons, but when I go to repair it, it doesn't go up to 100%, just sits at 99. :suicide: [editline]suckadick[/editline] Okay, turns out it's for ALL weapons, what the cocks.
So whats this game like? me and a good friend just purchased it off steam
