Colors are a direct buff on top of the minimum required level, so no, they DO mean a lot. The difference between a white item of the same level and an orange one is usually huge.

It's not so much a story game, more like a "Holy shit I just punched a zombie's head off" or a "How many combinations can you kill a zombie in." game. Pretty fun.
Just got the game. I didn't expect it to be this fun. The melee system has a real nice flow, reminds me of Batman Arkham Asylum but in first person.

I finally got my copy of Dead Island sorted out (I had a duped key) after buying since it first came out but alas, it is the end of my weekend and I got a week of non-stop work ahead me.

There's a patch on the way. I'm not sure about the ETA, but probably in the next week or two I'd think. They've at least acknowledged there are things to fix, which gives me hope cause a lot of devs just release a game and never mention the game again.
Dead Island not availble in Germany, great. Fuck you.
Is it possible that a "friend" outside of this wonderful country gifts me Dead Island through Steam AND I am able to install/play it with my account?

Just got the 666 craft and I absolutely love it.
Are there any trainers or something like it that I could use to get infinite stamina and durability when using it without getting VAC banned? I want to practice my Sith Lord skills without worrying about repairs.
Finally found a 360 copy, and I'm enjoying the hell out of it.
The environments, mood, and atmosphere are just perfect. I love just exploring, and kicking zombies over railings into pools for laughs.
I also got scared shitless when [sp]I went into a random beach side hut thing, and I get a message up top saying "Surprise room" or something, then I hear Infected screaming, and 5 suddenly run into the room and start attacking me, so I wildly swing a Cleaver I had and eventually kill them all[/sp]

I remember that too. I ended up closing the door, throwing a grenade down, opening it and trying to run.
I didn't get away in time and died. :downs:
I did kill them too though, obviously. It wasn't a complete failure.

I did the same thing and killed them all through the door while their arms were poking through.
After pissing myself, of course.
I threw shit at them as Logan, they didn't even come close to me.
Managed to kill a ram by ninja kicking it in the head when it charged at me, I simply decided to sprint and ninja kick it first, I won.
Just had some nice fellas from Facepunch buying Dead Island and Dead Rising 2 for me since they're not available for purchase in Germany.
