This is only better on co-op though. Singleplayer is just scary. Okay properly, scary on co-op anyway, and due to the sounds the zombie moans...... :(
I'm not sure if they were trying to make me feel bad for Jin or hate her.[sp]After that shit with the police station I certainly didn't like her.[/sp] Complete and utter dead weight with no logic behind her huge forehead. I hate Jin.
She was just there to provide additional mammaries, until scantilly clad forrestgirl who's name I forgot showed up.

All the women you see are already wearing bikinis, and the two you can play as have had some of their clothing strategically torn.
Arm, leg, and neck and it still walking. (Sorry for bad resolution, I capture from Steam.)

all the zombies have such perfect teeth, it's so weird, almost all other zombies in movies and games have fucked up teeth
all the zombies have such perfect teeth, it's so weird, almost all other zombies in movies and games have fucked up teeth
Maybe eating human flesh is the best way to keep your teeth clean.
Maybe eating human flesh is the best way to keep your teeth clean.
Ah yes, but does it give the dentist clean feeling of Sensodyne tooth-paste?
So you would think that if you launched a zombie half way the map with the homerun baseball bat they'd be dead. Wrong. Son of a bitch.

This sucks majorly. I just started a co-op game with my brother and his weapons can't be repaired. They don't show up in the repair tab and they don't show up in mine if we trade them either. And DIH doesn't work either for some reason. It just crashes when I try to start it.
I love how 4 infected are more dangerous than any other enemy in the entire game.
I'm currently stuck on the part where [sp]you have to escort Ope to the burial place so you can get a sample from the mummies.[/sp] We get about halfway there, and Ope gets raped and killed by zombies. The last time it autosaved, the zombies were about to fuck us over. So now every time I load the last save, Ope gets killed over and over. I try to save him, but a thug and butcher end up raping me. I'm honestly about to take the game back and get a full refund, because I'm really pissed right now, and I'm sure as hell not going to start a new fucking game. I've already broken a few things in my room
God damnit I had this too. I had like 2 bars of health left, and for some reason Ope thought he could take on a Thug, then the Butcher either goes for you or Ope, and there are all the others. But he always went for the Thug and just stood there and took hits from it while I was trying to stop everything else killing me and he'd just die. I finally managed to get past it by using Fury (I was playing Sam B) and I punched the Thugs head off, punched the Butcher into the ground and then it was fine. Just the Thug and the Butcher, with Ope being retarded made it rather hard. Apart from that, the only other part in the game I found hard was the bitch where you have to kill the Bandit leader, because he took no damage from bullets and I couldn't melee him. It wasn't until about the 6th time that I looked down and noticed there were grenades lying on the floor. Then it was just one grenade and he burned to death, which made it seem kind of easy.

The NPC's are fucking idiots, when I was helping the guy from[sp]the crashed helicopter[/sp] and got to the part where I had to[sp]jump down and kill a load of zombies[/sp] I said fuck that and threw a molotov because I thought it would be faster plus I didn't really want to fuck up my weapon condition. Ten seconds later the NPC jumps down, gets caught on fire and dies. :suicide:
I'm enjoying being Sam B this time around. He is strong and doesn't give a fuck. Am I not able to keep my level though with Logan? Completely new?
I Love the driving physics in this game :v:
Oh man, the last boss... [sp]Was piss-easy. We got him shocked 2 seconds in and all he did was shake around while we kicked his ass.[/sp]
Oh man, the last boss... [sp]Was piss-easy. We got him shocked 2 seconds in and all he did was shake around while we kicked his ass.[/sp]
I just stabbed it the the puke knife then burned him with my fireaxe.
[sp]I just finished the game. I thought Act 1 and 2 was fun, but Act 3 and 4 was rather meh, the ending didn't come as a surprise or anything, but the story was awkward in so many ways. Great game though, but I could have used some more sunshine, and not so much a dense jungle and a prison towards the end. Also last boss died in literally 5 seconds.[/sp]
Finished the game for a second time, and crafted a deathstalker zed's demise with 1050+600 damage. [sp]The banoi butcher was so easy anyway. I just hit him with a police baton and he died. Also, the fight with ryder white was pretty much instakill for me since i had left hand of glova and sent him flying where i stomped on his head.[/sp] [editline]22nd September 2011[/editline]
I love how 4 infected are more dangerous than any other enemy in the entire game.
except in the prison where i ended up facing 2 rams and 3 thugs, countless walkers and infected all at once and fury did nothing because i died instantly
except in the prison where i ended up facing 2 rams and 3 thugs, countless walkers and infected all at once and fury did nothing because i died instantly
Running comes in pretty handy at times. I managed to avoid pretty much all the rams and thugs.
This game is great but got boring, unfortunately... Great game with a low replay value 3:
This game is great but got boring, unfortunately... Great game with a low replay value 3:
Dead Island, boring, no replay value? I think you're playing the wrong game or haven't played nearly enough of it yet.
Oh my god, I finally got into playing Co-Op with my mic, and I got an entire group together (got the Originality achievement because we were all 4 characters) and we played through the entire first Act. I cannot believe how much fun this game is in Co-Op, even with complete strangers! Having the mic on all the time is actually a fun idea, because that way you're more focused on playing and not pressing a button to talk, and so what people say is a lot more natural, especially the laughs :v:
I personally found SP more fun. People just get in the way of my fun and complicate things, even if I'm playing with just friends. Also, having the mic always on is developer laziness. There's absolutely no options to turn hearing other people off (without modding) and no option for a push to talk. The devs better add these options in a patch, it's not a fun idea, it's just sheer laziness. It's not that big a deal for me personally since my microphone has an on/off switch on it, but it's annoying hearing unaware people nerd-breathing in their mic or have their TV blaring all the time.
