If the IGN article is even remotely accurate, it's not looking good IMO.

Pretty much all previews/reviews are biased these days. Sure you can identify the features etc but don't take their word on how 'good' something is.

Especially because Dead Rising is fucking 3rd Person Camera and Dead Island is an Ego-"Shooter".
Everytime i watch that trailer i shed a tear...
IGN did nothing in their preview but bitch about how it wasn't like THE CGI TRAILER. If they spent more time speaking about the gameplay and less time bitching about how it wasn't like the trailer, then maybe they would actually like it. I suppose they thought the CGI trailer was gonna be the game...
I dislike how they wrote their preview without optimism, they were just expecting it to be like every other zombie game so that's what they chose to compare it to.
