Borderlands APB Bioshock 2 (to some extent, especially the multiplayer...) All where labeled as godlike, all turned out terrible/mediocre.
Borderlands was awesome. :colbert:
The most thumbed-up comment on that is a very valid point, while the second is "Zombies with nice tits yay*"
Handbags are immune to fire. Also, that screenshot of the zombie being twatted in the face by the bat. If you look at the female zombies left arm, it seems to be using the good old 'pinchneck' type model. (it's warped)
It looks to be decaying to me. You can see the flesh has been torn off exposing the bone and muscle underneath.
Borderlands was awesome. :colbert:
Nerf guns, every gun is the same +10 this -30 that with flames.
Despite that I found Borderlands really fun.
Nerf guns, every gun is the same +10 this -30 that with flames.
every gun has a random part from this pool that can be literally any combination of colors, no two guns have exactly the same parts and stats
every gun is the same
yeah sure okay :allears:

Pretty fun if played with a friend.
yeah sure okay :allears:
It's strange isn't it? How there can be so many parts, so many stat variations and yet every gun is the same, it's an amazing thing they pulled off.
It's strange isn't it? How there can be so many parts, so many stat variations and yet every gun is the same, it's an amazing thing they pulled off.
The problem with the game is the rarity system. Some parts hardly ever show up because they're stupidly rare, and when they do show up, they don't do anything useful (or are completely nullified by some other effect on the gun). The guns have VISUAL variety, but they don't really have anything that makes them unique. The 50-some-odd COMPLETELY UNIQUE guns (both visually and in status effects) are a good example of what Gearbox could have done with variety, but for some reason decided on the rarity system instead. And, as well, the rarity level has been broken by the most recent patch update (which added Pearlescent weapons for the third DLC). Standard Purple guns are now natively better than the uniquely named Orange guns, meaning there is no point in collecting them other than to just boast how many you have. And, as well, even some Blue guns can be better companions because of the part makeup they have.
Borderlands was awesome. :colbert:
The ending. That fucking ending. It was all like :effort:
The ending. That fucking ending. It was all like :effort:
The ending was a hilarious letdown. First time you beat it you're like " well that fucking sucks " but a few times again and it kind of kicks things into perspective. I mean, did you really expect to find a shit ton of treasure on Pandora? Anywho enough Borderlands derailing for me. I just checked out the new Dead Island trailer and it looks pretty sweet. It keeps motivating me to continue my Hawaii campaign for L4D2 :v:

Why the dumb ratings?
According to the facebook page, that ending bit with the zombies running at the camera in the latest trailer is actual gameplay footage.
I think they are humans running in fear. Which is fucking awesome.
Anyone got any idea when new info ill be out?
E3, says the trailer.
E3, says the trailer.
I meant before that D:
Some pretty hot zombie mummitas.
This happens in every thread - lots of fucking excitment and then bam!, ''why did i buy this fuck.''
Brink Dino WWII game I have full confidence Dead Island will be great. Hopefully some gameplay will be shown at E3.
cant wait for my gore fest with this game....
Bought an Xbox Magazine because it had a new Dead Island article. Three new screenshots, not worth taking pictures off because they are small. One is showing inside a building like the hotel lobby, dead bodies on the floor and some zombies walking round. looks really nice. The other one was badass, it was someone driving a car hitting zombies and another car getting its passengers dragged out by zombies. Finally, one shown the character faced with a zombie, and Sam B is behind fighting off his own hoard. (Coop, or do the characters blend into singleplayer together?) The article had some details : One combination can make a throwing knife with an explosive taped on, making a sticky bomb. The game is about defense, not offence. Some police guards and security teams carry guns, although guns are still rare. Cars are a risk, if you stop you may get swarmed quickly and dragged out. There will be powerful emotional moments in the game. You find out how parts of the island are coping with the crisis, you see other survivor teams trying to achieve tasks that may cause conflict between you and other parties. The Island is fucking huge. Diverse enviroments, swamps, coastal beaches, jungles and mountains. There is alot of freedom on the island, you can explore interior buildings, underground passages such as sewers. But if you stray to far away early on, it may be very difficult due to your low level.
Sounds really interesting.
I need a title, 'Magazine man'.

It almost sounds too good to be true, they better not fuck this up.
Some pretty hot zombie mummitas.
Yes, because it's always nice for the zombie you're about to dismember to have a nice butt.
Brink Dino WWII game
Brink is fun, it just had some problems at launch as for the other game, I thought for a while before it came out that it was going to suck same thing with Homefront :colbert:
The Island is fucking huge.
That's what tripped me up in Fallout. I ended up wandering around, scrounging about for ammo or something, and BAM! Shot to death by a Bandit. And being that it's an Tropical Island, instead of a Dusty Wasteland, I'm going to be double screwed.
i'm glad it will have powerful emotional moments in the game
Getting swarmed and dragged out of your car sounds fucking terrifying. I wonder if there will be things like four wheelers or motorcycles. And it would be cool if you had armored trucks and stuff.
