At the end of the video it flashes a warning saying he is leaving the demo area. Hopefully this means they'll release a demo.
Edit: Just noticed someone else pointed out the demo warning already.
I dunno guys, I think it looks pretty good.
I actually like how they added in craftable weapons and I usually don't mind loading screens unless they are really close together.
I will probably get it.

That was their comic-con demo. They still could tho.
Hmmm, i have 3 friends that might get it, but one of their pc's isnt exactly good so we might get it for ps3. Do you think this game will be graphically demanding?
I'm considering buying it. The game HAS changed a lot though. I'm referring to back in 07. It looked like a very horror based game with suspense. Now it looks more arcade rpg style. Not complaining but I just hope it's fun. Combat looked nice but I'm not sure how long it will stay fun.
They appear to took out the layer system, when he slashed the zombie on the ground nothing happened.
I think a demo might be released similar to how the Mafia II demo was: a timed, limited demo which shows off the open-world but only gives you a little bit of time to see it, as in the Comic-Con demo.

Most likely, yeah.
If they have a processor higher than 2.6ghz and a decent enough graphics card, they should be fine. Those are pretty high requirements though even for today's standard OEM computers, so it's iffy.
There probably will be low-end optimizations and mods released in the future though. So it could go either way.

What is wrong with the guy commenting. He is just annoying as fuck.

Yep. Clock frequency's everything.
I would have liked for their to be different animations for each weapon, especially reloading guns. Like, when you first start the game depending on your character you'd have a specific animation, so if the character you choose hasn't used a gun before he'll/she'll fumble with reloading a magazine and melee swings will be very unguarded and wild. Then as the game progresses the animations shift as you gain more proficiency the animations will change to reflect that. But I guess that's too much effort for such a minor thing, its just something I'd find cool.

It is like that I think, this is a quote from an article: "they're [the player] all just normal people. So swinging the pipe will come off sloppy and wild at the start of the game"
Oh that's pretty sweet.

I meant 2.6ghz Dual-Core. Seriously though, who has a single-core 2.6ghz processor these days?
But those are the minimum requirements, and guessing by those previews of the layer system, this game is going to require a bit of hefty processing power. Especially if this is a shoddy port, as ports are notorious for relying more on CPU than GPU.
good job not reading the above, it's still in, it's hard to see in all of these videos because when they play the demo, they want to do the objectives, not skin zombies.
to me though, seems like for such an impressive-sounding system they don't really point it out as much as I would've expected them to
I don't think they took it out either, but I do think they toned it down quite a bit from what they originally showed back in '07

how a CPU performs relys mainly on its architecture
a rather simple example would be to compare an i3 2100 to an Athlon 255. They're both clocked at 3.1GHz, yet one would dominate the other
it's not any different, it's just that you barely got a glimpse of what happens in the latest videos, and the demo players don't want to fuck around with corpses
exactly what I'm saying
for such an impressive system they don't demonstrate it, which is why I think they toned it down
I hope that they have kept the full system too, but the latest videos have made me a bit skeptical

That's true. I forgot how big of a role architecture plays.
I'm probably going to get it for console since I might eventually want to exchange it or lend it to a friend and store where I am don't accept refunds for PC games. Oh and my PC sucks and I don't want to take the risk of not being able to run it and can't return it.
I'll probably keep it tho.
I think i'm waiting for reviews before buying this one, i'm sorry to say, but this game has become so similar to the Dead Rising series that I would hesitate to buy it, there doesn't seem to be any horror in it.
One thing I don't understand is that the developers of this also developed 'Call of Juarez:The Cartell' a game that everyone is shitting over, and yet people are hyped for this when it's being released a few months later.

What kind of horror did you expect? Its open world and most horror games are pretty lineair.

The Ess Tee Ay Ell Kay Eeh Arr type of horror.

if youre looking for a horror game, this is not for you. This is a dead rising with fallout/borderlands stat mechanics. Nothing to be scared of really, more of a zombie kill fest.
Now that you mention call of juarez, its making me nervous about reordering. I dont want me and my friends to spend 37 bucks on a game and have it flop. I really want a demo for this.
Why have they not updated Logan?

That's a good question considering he's a narrative in most trailers.

Oh god the characters look atrocious. You got the slutty girl and a generic rapper. Logan seems nice though, not to happy about the others though as it might ruin the immersion of co-op for me if they keep saying really retarded stuff, I can just imagine what the rapper says every time he kills someone.

It would take her like a second to button her shirt up.
