Deus Ex, definitely, it's just that Dead Island seems to vary; sometimes it looks amazing, other times it looks bad.
Still not sure if I'm going to get this or not. Waiting for some reviews to start popping up.

I'm predicting that this game isn't going to be worth the long wait and it's not going to be that amazing but I believe it will at least be a good game.
So far the combat mechanics all look good which is critical for a zombie game combined with a nice open world makes me think it will be worth buying.
I don't really remember, but is there any kind of co-op in this game? Is it kind of like borderlands style where you both can progress in the quests, if there is?

Haven't honestly built up hype. It might be good or it might be bad. If I stray away from marketing, I'll probably enjoy it more.

I haven't either, I never hype myself for games ever, but I'm looking forward to it is what I meant. There's a difference between excitement and hype.
People who hype themselves up for games are retarded, they set unrealistic expectations for themselves then when they get the game and it doesn't hit their expectations they call it shitty.
Actually, the main reason I'm looking forward to this is just because I want to waste time dicking around with the damage system, seeing what kind of damage I can do with different weapons and such. Although I imagine I'll probably do a co-op playthrough of it at some point, because it looks like it could potentially be a blast in co-op.

I don't think it's going to sell amazingly but the game will be pretty good, not game of the year by a long shot but still entertaining.

Yeah. I'm torn between it and Space Marine. But honestly, probably going to have to see reviews and try both.
I pre ordered it at a local EB games, cost me $65 and It got me the Blood Bath DLC and the Ripper. Mainly got the preorder because Im guessing the DLC would be about $10-$15 and the base cost of the game would be $55-$60 for about 2 months. My friend pre ordered it too so we do co-op right off the bat. Got it for the PS3

"night before" meaning 2 hours ahead of midnight but at the same time as everyone else.
Luckily I only have one class through out the hole day for school, so I have the rest of the day to play it on the day of release.

Oh shit 2 weeks 'till it's out? I still need to get it pre-ordered.
Also yeah I'm pretty damn hyped for this. Although I can already predict lots of high expectations facepunchers tearing it apart by pointing out bugs and limitations while I'm busy having a blast in co-op despite all of that.
