bad news for you, devs said funny weapons aren't in it and no, a machete with a car battery doesn't qualify as funny
Doesn't deodorant bomb count as goofy?
goofy weapons is more like an amplified guitar that makes heads explode, or a huge mask stuffed with fireworks
goofy weapons is more like an amplified guitar that makes heads explode, or a huge mask stuffed with fireworks
I want to hit zombies with a guitar. Their head doesn't need to explode. Just want a nice E note to play.
deodorant is flammable, i don't see how it would be goofy now a dragon head with a flamethrower sticking out and a dildo that shoots shotgun shells is a little goofy
A lot of things are flammable. Doesn't turn them into hand grenades. But that's not your point and it's a video game so ghghghgh.
They even said in the pre-release that you can craft goofy weapons, so I'm not doubting you can.
What about "The Ripper"? The buzzsaw-bat.
well theres a difference between unique/cool weapons and goofy stuff a buzzsaw bat? awesome and would probably work well, as opposed to a goofy gun that shoots flaming ping pong balls.
well theres a difference between unique/cool weapons and goofy stuff a buzzsaw bat? awesome and would probably work well, as opposed to a goofy gun that shoots flaming ping pong balls.
Hey! That tiki torch + ping pong balls gun helped me the beat the second to last boss.
well theres a difference between unique/cool weapons and goofy stuff a buzzsaw bat? awesome and would probably work well, as opposed to a goofy gun that shoots flaming ping pong balls.
Granted, there's an overlap of cool and goofy in many cases. For example, the electric explosive KNIFE. How would that even work? Is it a throwing knife with a brick of C4 and a car battery attached?

And there is most likely a detonation device with a timer on it so you can activate the explosive and have enough time to throw it before you lose an arm. Remember, us soft squishy humans aren't exactly explosive proof.
I hope the music is great. That one piece in the trailer with the little girl was fantastic.
So I pre-ordered this for a friend of mine earlier. Felt good man.
Holy, about 10 of my real friends are getting this game and some of my online friends. Going to have a hard time controlling how I play with them all as most of them want to play Coop with me..
I have no one to play with....
Add me to steam i will play when its released.
i have a bunch of steam friends who are getting this, unfortunately none of them know eachother so i probably wont be able to get a full group of 4
Oh god Dead Island or Space Marine ahhhh. Edging towards Space Marine but thats just becuase they released a demo.
It's still not too late for them to release one.
I got this game awhile back will there be preloading on steam?
Steamworks game so most likely.
If there will be any preloading it would most likely be available around Friday.
I'm waiting a month for Space Marine cause that is when they add co-op. [editline]30th August 2011[/editline] Actually, probably until December cause in October RAGE and Dark Souls and a million other games come out and then in November Skyrim.
damn me being poor those videos make me actual want it now hnng
Just pre-ordered. So happy I get the bonus and the game.
Gosh i updated my avatar 2 days ago and it hasn't taken hold what gives it's still stuck on deus ex? Btw what is so special about the “The Ripper” Special Weapon preorder offer, it's just a deadly combination of baseball bat and buzz saw. Couldn't you just make the weapon ingame anyway without the preorder?
The knowledge needed to build the ripper is a closely guarded secret of the native islanders. Only if you pre-order will they deem you worthy of its power.
So is the system like Borderlands or Dead Rising where when you beat the game you can continue the character to another campaign as much as you want?
So is the system like Borderlands or Dead Rising where when you beat the game you can continue the character to another campaign as much as you want?
I didn't really understand your question but it seems to be similar to Borderlands in general gameplay and Dead Rising when it comes to weapons. I think it'll be free-roam with sidequests while your doing the actual story but some areas won't open up until you've proceeded so far with the plot and they haven't said if you'll be able to continue after the plot ends.
