Borderlands or Dead Rising have no sort of Post-Game Freeroam.
You can continue playing Borderlands after finishing the main quest, or you can play a second playthrough with the same character.

Yeah I was hoping more for a scary zombie game.
And they said the zombies would be challenging but most of that was just one hit killing them with melee weapons and guns.
Lets hope its not a open world l4d.

Zombies probably are easy on their own, but a lot more challenging in a group.
Try to kill 20 of those with only a machete.

Without that song, I doubt Dead Island would have gotten the attention it received. They hit the nail on the head when they did that for the CGI trailer.
Trailer was good, but it shows the helicopter on fire. That seems like a bit of a spoiler to me, now i'll be thinking it's going to crash all the way through the game :(
Then again, what helicopter hasn't crashed in a game or movie.

once the first one died, I stopped caring about any of them.
Hopefully saving survivors will have a greater impact on you in the game and hopefully they actually try to defend themselves with realistic ways of doing it. On Dead rising they would just bum out and get attacked or sometimes just wander in the shop even tho there was zombies inside.
I don't think a Palm Tree can support an entire body.
