This game might well be the most awesome zombie game ever created, but what I have seen from the videos is that there arent that many zombies on the streets, making the zombie apocalypse kinda (lol) dead.
If the virus turns out to be some kind of drug I'll be pissed, in the intro were Xian Mei is trying to wake up the woman on the floor she has a bottle of pills next to her.
What if it's some kind of new rave drug that makes poeple want to bite your face off.
It's probably the generic "BOW substance placed into public water supply" routine or something, that's my original guess.

Doubt it since the locals seem to have it too. I'm betting voodoo or something in that nature. I'd like that, isn't seen much with most zombie games.
Here's hoping Gamestop do a deal on Dead Island, like they did with Deus Ex and Driver. So then I can get two copies for PS3 for £20 each. Knowing my luck though it will be on the Tuesday and my money goes in the bank on the Wednesday.

The Ripper was generally considered to not be included with the GMG preorders by one of the employees. However, the Bloodbath DLC will be included and the keys for it will be released whenever the DLC is released out into the wild.
You guys can laugh at my misfortune i'm still not able to preload due to that error. I opened a steam ticket.. ugh if i don't get to preload it's gonna suck!

The Ripper is just a weapon that you aren't able to get until later in the game. You just get the weapon (or the schematics to build it, I'm not sure) instantly if you preordered it on steam.
You can still get a Ripper, you just don't start out with one.
Holy shit this is £27 off amazon.co.uk just like Skyrim and Space Marine.
Pre-ordered, it comes with the arena dlc too.

Guess I misunderstood, thought they were the same package.
How long does Ultimatum usually take for sending keys? I think I'll give it a couple more days then ask for a refund if it doesn't come through and maybe just get it off Steam or something.

Honestly for the same price you could have gotten it at GMG, but if you don't mind waiting it out it might take them a bit as I believe they buy retail copies.

So is there an FP Dead Island Steam group? None of my Steam friends seem to be interested in this game and I'm looking forward to the co-op.
