This is the most detailed video analysis of GTA V debut trailer (made by me). Hope you guys like it. Please reply. :)
I genuinely like your way of pointing things out, it's so much better than the methods other people are doing for their "analysis" etc, also spotted a fair few things I didn't see before, like really subtle things that I wouldn't have noticed at all otherwise (shoe hanging on wire, the ambulance, the fact that it was a jewelry store, the walk of fame thing)
Wow I didn't notice the red car guy is the one who's driving the van
Maybe these guys, instead of being multiple protags, are connected in some sort of gang? The red car guy could be the gang's getaway driver. The middle-aged guy could be the brains behind it all.

For those saying MTA is better have a read of this: http://forum.sa-mp.com/showthread.php?t=282775 The only thing I noticed whilst playing MTA is that it had a nice GUI which can be easily coded in SA-MP.
Skyrim and BF3 better hope GTA V doesn't come out this year, because it will take GOTY.
Thanks everyone for appreciating my work.

But oh well, I still play SA:MP more than MTA.
Don't forget better sync, and LUA gamemodes. But oh well, I still play SA:MP more than MTA.
Don't say better sync when you haven't even compared latest versions. Also they literally just released 0.3d RC8 which stops traffic lights desyncing. But the biggest improvement that I've noticed is that they've made tweaks to the engine which increases fps, smoother gameplay and less CPU usage which is definetly noticeable.

Unlike Sa-MP, where it's just a bunch of poeple running around with sawed of shotguns because the sync isn't good enough.

I like MTA because it's compatible with the Steam version of GTASA
both are, if you replace the exe with the old version

I wonder why every transcription of the trailer says: "Why did I move here? Guess it was the weather. Or the ... ah, I don't know. That thing. That magic." For me it clearly sounds like: "Why did I move here? Guess it was the weather. Or the ... heart? That thing. That magic." How do they hear four syllables when there's only one. Also I'm replaying GTA IV right now (to do all the decisions I never dared to make) and I got this slightly sad feeling again. That feeling when you stop playing and look around you to notice all the details of the world where many artists worked so many hours on. You usually don't notice them, you don't interact much with all the decoration. And then you see the trailer for the next GTA and you think it looks better. But it doesn't really (except for the colors and more variation). It's only because you analyze every frame of it. In the end, when the game's running on our monitors, we will notice just as less as we did in GTA IV (unless you stop and stare for a while).

Whirlyburr confirmed.

Things you can't do in SAMP Sync unoccupied vehicles Custom graffiti ( Although not currently implemented because the devs don't want servers to send viruses through client side DLLs ) Custom billboard HLSL Shaders and custom handling that syncs More shader hacks Things you can't do in MTA Nothing Stop with your shitty arguments about why SAMP is better. It uses PAWN, has a shitty userbase, an overuling community manager that has banned entire countries by IP from even using SAMP, the list goes on. No reason exists to play SAMP over MTA. GTAV looks awesome, btw.
I think somebody does a real-life "next GTA" video for every GTA.
Yeah, anyone remember this?
I am sorry if someone already brought this up, but I think that if the multiple protagonist theory is true, we've already seen all of them in this trailer. The old guy is obviously one of them while the others are those two guys that accompany him on that robbery. The bald, white guy may be the one sitting in the red car, watching that woman walk by, while the black guy may be the one running from the cops. The old guy is going to be some sort of main protagonist, while the other two will have their own, short stories, like IV's Episodes. I wonder what kind of people will we run into in the game. I know quite a lot about organised crime in New York, but I know next to nothing about LA. All I know about it, is that there are afro-american and hispanic street gangs there. Anyone more knowledgable about that area here?
He clearly says Or the...aah I don't know, that thing, that magic.
After listening to it a hundred more times I think I can hear it ... it's very very subtle. I could hear the "ahh" but nothing else so I assumed it means something that fits more, like "heart".

Hilarious, so glad someone made a video like this. IGN was so annoying with their being so sure of themselves. Thinking just because a few black people were shown and one white man it was sure to be Tommy Vercetti & Cj, lol
I want it to be Tommy Vercetti. If not as the main character, I'd like to see him being one of the guys you work for. One of the guys that DOESN'T fuck you over.
