though I agree with you.
Everything in that video just looks like generic 3ds max shaders. And the movement on the map looks way off most of the time.

It's fake. The van is an actual Chevrolet Express, not the Speedo from GTA IV which is a knockoff of said Chevy. GTA would never use real cars. Also the technical jargon at the end is all bullshit.
And yeah, it looks rendered. The shadows look like ray traced shadows and the grass is using some fur shader.
Also, IIRC the Xbox 360 and PS3 both only render 720p, not 1080p.
