It's always that one same voice... ''Rated M for mature.''. It's so mysterious.

I wonder if he ever gets recognized.

I think it is the same person who does those epic commercial voices for action movies.

That guy died though.
Any news on this? I don't feel like reading through almost 100 pages.
I've played GTA all my childhood, I'd love it if this game was as fun as San Andreas. GTA IV was a good game, but it wasn't really fun. It had a good plot, some decent missions, but it didn't have all that cheap action movie feeling that SA had, you know, like invading a plane with a bike while it's taking off, then jumping off it while it's exploding only to land in a building full of Yakuzas
Saints row took over on that turn, but I hope GTA V will at least be a bit crazy.

Chinatown wars is the only one that doesn't, but it's not really a traditional GTA game.
Fine, a vehicle in the top left corner if you're so fussy.

Even thought I don't want to, I don't want to hurt Roman's feelings.
But killing people is fine
San Andreas always taught me you should kill as many gangsters and police and civilians as long as it gets the drugs off the street.

It's also okay to kill a few cops to clear your name of a cop's murder.
San Andreas always taught me you should kill as many gangsters and police and civilians as long as it gets the drugs off the street.
Vice City taught me to do whatever I can to make myself rich and take over the place where I am.
GTA IV thought me that high speed crashes will cause you to fly through the windscreen and that shooting pigeons is good.
San Andreas taught me that if i'm being chased by the army, I should eat the floppy disk in my kitchen.

Note to self: Does not work.
Vice City taught me that you can use "There are sharks in the water" as an excuse when you can't swim.
This will be a good game.
The graphics looks amazing! Even better than GTA IV!
I can't think of a sequel where the graphics take a step backward.
Crysis 2
Crysis 2 was beautiful :/
Well once you get the DX11 patch and High-res texures
This thread is now talking about graphics. On that note, the graphics and location in GTA 5 remind me of Just Cause 2.
It's pretty obvious GTA V is using Max Payne 3's version of the engine, most obviously because they're being made at relatively the same time. Both games now make use of detail textures, light rays (although that was in Red Dead) and whatever else shit.
Saints row took over on that turn, but I hope GTA V will at least be a bit crazy.
I hope they bring back classic GTA stuff like chainsaws and rampages, while retaining much of the approach they went for in IV.
i want hardcore missions like in gta 1
I just played through GTA IV for the fourth time and this time I really noticed how boring almost everything is compared to the missions in San Andreas. Almost all the time you follow someone with a vehicle or you clear a place of enemies. What makes it even worse is that many things are scripted like the uninteruptable cars on a rail and events that only happen in the missions (which should also happen outside of the missions when you give the player such a dynamic engine).
The side missions weren't fun either (Jacobs deliveries, the races, driving cabs for Roman or doing something with the annoying friends). If they implement something like bowling, darts or pool they should make it fun enough for the player to play it by himself instead of forcing the player to do so.
More problems in my eyes are cash and rewards. When did you ever need cash in GTA IV? Never. And far before you unlock the expensive rocket launcher ammo, you get 250,000 from the bank robbery. Where is the challenge? They should make everything ten times as expensive. Especially Taxis, you use them all the time because you're sick of driving to the other side of the city. At least make it cost the player enough to make him think twice about it. It's not rewarding to drive over there by yourself (or to take the train).
And that's where it comes to rewards. All you get for finding and killing all 200 pigeons is a damn achievement. In the old games there were at least rewards but even those could be better. Saints Row does it right. Give the player some passive bonuses or perks or so ... something useful.
I really, really, ... REALLY hope they take a different direction in GTA V. At least stick to some of the new features of TBOGT like the secondary mission objectives or the races with basejumping, boat driving and car driving.
GTA IV is actually a great game but NOT WHEN YOU PLAY IT FOUR TIMES
The things I missed in IV were the "useless" kind of stuff, that didn't make that much difference but were still fun to do and notice, like the gym, stamina, fighting styles, etc. Basically, I feel that, even if GTA IV was awesome, it wasn't as dynamic as the previous ones.
Crysis 2
Crysis 2 had way better graphics than crysis 1
Crysis 2 had way more bloom rape then Crysis 1.
I liked both SA and IV pretty much equally
I think the only thing I disliked about SA was the RPG elements, getting hungry while in a turf war / mission was quite annoying.
