I loved the sillyness of SA but I also love the seriousness of GTA4.
And I like TBoGT because you seem pretty cool and respected in there, instead of a depressing atmosphere. I'm only judging from gameplay videos, never played it.

God damn, I hated the turf war missions. Not because of the actual missions, mind you, but if I was all the way in Las Venturas gambling and all the sudden, the BALLAZ decide to come up on my turf, I had to hijack a plane, go all the way to Los Santos and hope to god I got there in time.
So then I controlled all the turf in Los Santos, which was good for a time. I got to go wherever I wanted whenever I wanted. No more stupid street urchin gangs to bother me anymore. Well, until one fateful day flying to San Fierro to do those Zero missions I never did and then I found out...
...that I now I had enemy gang territories in San Fierro and the little town just above it. Fuck my life.

It's partially like that, but when louis is with his family it can get sort of depressing
I hope the humor of the game is back because gta IV was to serious!

But I loved how everyone was all "damn CJ you suck" or "Niko fuck you" at first, but then you'd feel awesome after completing a mission and be all "wait, I'm actually awesome"

My mate had a Playstation while I had an N64 and he used to have a Demo Disc with teh original GTA on it. When I went to his house, we used to call it the "Car Game".
So I guess the original was my first.

I remember that inserting cheat codes in GTA 1 helped me to learn how to write, as I just started learning it on school. so I guess about 5-6.

Got GTA Chinatown Wars on the DS a couple years ago.
Then I got GTA3 from my library. They were both cool, so I bought Vice City and San Andreas. Loved them, then got GTA IV and Episodes.
Now I have them all on Steam.

I occupied myself for hours as a young lad by punching the line of walking orange people (it's been awhile, were they a football team running laps or something?) and then leading them onto the train tracks and quickly hopping off before it could shock me and watching them all get zapped into skeletons.

I just let the Ballaz take all the territories they want until I was left with Grove Street and some small area that they never go to. I didn't feel like doing turf wars that much.
