EDIT 2:
The more I look at it, the weirder it seems... it the bottom-middle part of the map, there are several straight diagonal lines that look out of place, and there seems to be a lack of suburbs. All the country towns seem to be very tightly packed, like mini urban areas, and there is no pointer to show the location of the player character.
Very few parts of the old and "new" map actually match up properly there by the way, obviously some parts probably have a similar looking layout, but nothing jumps out as being overly similar. There looks like entirely new districts in places, the islands seem to be mostly unique (other than SF). It probably isn't real due to the way the menu is laid out mind, it doesn't look like a sensible progression for R*.
Interesting either way. It would be quite a large map.
It's probably still a fake, but it's a much better fake than the last one considering this guy at least tried to make his map correspond with the footage in the trailer.
A few things I'm hoping for in this game:
-Grove street. I want a lot of these references they had in the other games, like CJ in that outdoor, in IV.
-More NPC interaction
-Decent graphics, but still accessible for people with bad computers. I believe that the main reason why IV wasn't played as half as much as SA is because a lot of people can't even run it.
-"useless" things to do that won't influence much, but will be fun to do while roaming around, such as gyms
-more cheats, because those were so much fun (flying cars please)
oh and of course, I hope that they come up with new myths

I guess they could pull something like this off with procedural generation, couldn't they? Make the city detailed like it always is, and the interiors would be randomly furnished and stuff.

In my mind it would work simmilar to True Crime New York City, i recall that you could access almost every building and store but they were all quite the same inside.

Oh also these serve as spawnpoints for certain people too. Like if you get wanted outside a Police Station, cops start pouring out the doors, or injure someout outside a Hospital, Nurses or Medics will come out to help, and possibly Security Guards too, to chase you away.

I recently bought a new computer and installed GTA 4. Now the game was starting and it always required a windows live update. So I downloaded it and it still was saying that it required an update. I went to the games for windows live site and downloaded the update there. Now the game isn't even starting. Does anybody know any fix?
This new map is so obviously fake... Over saturated, still using the GTAIV menu system just as the other fake map did... Waste of energy.
