The atmosphere in GTA SA and Vice city is something special. Maybe because I grew up playing those games or because they actually had that special thing.

the thing I liked about those games is there was this weird 'hazy' effect that they had to them, where it would sometimes be a bit blurry and unfocused. I don't know why but I always liked that

I wouldn't be certain about it, it could be from a cutscene.

GTA IV was a great game for me but i didnt like it being in liberty city because i played SO MUCH GTA III on my PS2 that it was kind of a let down just because I wanted a new map.
