The atmosphere in GTA SA and Vice city is something special. Maybe because I grew up playing those games or because they actually had that special thing. GTA IV is just people hating each other.

I don't know why but I always liked that
Red Dead Redemption did that kinda stuff pretty well, I wouldn't be surprised if they added a lot more interaction. Well, from the trailer we can already see proper convertible cars.
I wouldn't be certain about it, it could be from a cutscene. Every GTA trailer featured some kind of ingame interaction that turned out to be a part of a cutscene

I kind of liked the "noir"-like GTA IV style, I just don't think the effect it had would ever fit into a game, especially not a GTA game.
GTA IV is just people hating each other.
Yes, welcome to the atmosphere of New York City.
GTA IV was a great game for me but i didnt like it being in liberty city because i played SO MUCH GTA III on my PS2 that it was kind of a let down just because I wanted a new map. This shall be gold.

Open bridge to San Fierro DLC Open bridge to Las Venturas DLC Nitro Booster Pack. You can finally follow that GOG DAMN TRAIN CJ DLC I hope you can stumble across some GTA SA easter eggs in the game. The game should be set somewhat twenty years into the future. How about a rare, fat 50 year old CJ walking about?
He even looked the same in that IV outdoor.
Wait, what? I didn't know there was a visual reference CJ.
