L.A Noire
GTA 4
Red Dead Redemption
Max Payne 3
That's more than three alright, though its true that the engine ain't bad
la noire wasn't on the rage engine and max payne 3 isn't out yet
Vice City Stories was on RAGE. A very primitive version of it, but it was on RAGE.

What? It's most likely SA modified bro.
Vice City Stories was on RAGE. A very primitive version of it, but it was on RAGE.
uh if VCS was on RAGE all the GTA3 era games were on RAGE, last I checked they all used the same renderware engine

I know, I thought it was weird too, but I definitely read somewhere (not just some random site that someone made up) that it did indeed ran on Rockstar's own in-house engine, rather than RenderWare and that engine later was developed into the RAGE we know now. I guess they originally just recreated what they already had in RenderWare onto their own engine and then developed stuff on top later. VCS used a lot of really different file formats than the older GTA games.

I highly doubt that, find a solid source to back it up and maybe we'll believe you.
Also Midnight Club LA was on RAGE, just in case no one pointed that out yet
It might not have been really the current RAGE, but it wasn't the RenderWare engine either. Liberty City Stories was already on Rockstar's own engine and RAGE simply means "Rocktar Advanced Game Engine". So I guess you could say they were on RGE rather than RAGE. They definitely weren't on RenderWare, which they had used for the previous GTAs.

Scratch L.A Noire then.
The fact that Max Payne 3 is not out yet doesn't change anything at all.
And apparently, 8 games were built on the Rage engine.
Max Payne 3 is on RAGE 2.0 so it's technically not the same engine.

makes sense that they'd redo the engine in order to get it to run well on handhelds
If it's Los Angeles, I hope they base it off of SA's Los Santos, and not recreate Los Angeles from scratch.
I love how R* have kept all of their games' websites.

You mean like how they totally based GTA IV's Liberty City off GTA III's Liberty City?
If you want to laugh download the GTA2 demo and uncheck the 'Maximum Frame Rate' box.

Put "Grand Theft Auto:" in front of the name of where you live.
