It's from a mission. You have to bust someone out of the jail cell by rigging the nearby police car with a bomb and detonating it next to the wall. The guy you break out is fine, not a scratch. But apparently someone else must have been in there with him, blown to smithereens. That was always my conclusion anyway.
You see those handprints, he was buttraped horribly
So.... Second trailer anytime soon?
neverrr
I'm expecting to see quite a bit at PAX East this year
I sure hope so! :D
Vice city was my favourite GTA game. The date, the clothes, the neon, the story and the music. All such gold.
So.... Second trailer anytime soon?
We had to wait four months after the first trailer for IV so uh.. [editline]10:24PM[/editline] I don't even know if we received screen shots from the game during that time frame, and this may be a bad comparison - but I just don't think a new trailer is coming anytime soon.
This year? I don't think so. Please don't get your hopes up, I beg of you.
it's in april, so there's bound to be something new. and max payne 3 will have been released so there won't be anything on that. anyway, rockstar has always had one of the biggest booths at the entire event
Oh, if that's so then yeah, it's possible! But if it isn't then..
Sight. I wanted to buy GTAIII for Android so I could play it anywhere in delicious 10.1 inch HD, but it isn't available in Brazil Yeah, I know, GTAV thread. But there's nothing to talk about until there's more footage out.
FOLLOW THE YELLOW LINE TO ROMAN'S WAREHOUSE [editline]16th December 2011[/editline] some tutorial missons are needed, but yes, I think they should make something different for your first mission
I think players should have an option. Like before the game starts, GTA V should have something that asks whether a tutorial is necessary for the player. If the player has never played any GTA then they should take the tutorial option which goes through the steps on how to shoot, how to steal a car, how to fuck prostitutes. If the player has played GTA V games, the player should be immediately plunged into some nitty gritty action.

And even then, they changed up enough that it was necessary for everyone.
Not to mention that the first mission being 'Drive your first car to your first house' is kind of a tradition in the GTA series.
Not to mention that the first mission being 'Drive your first car to your first house' is kind of a tradition in the GTA series.
CJ's first ride was the classiest.

Grove Street, home. At least it was bo'fo I fucked everything up.
So i'm replaying GTA 3 on my Android, haven't played it since I was 8. And... wow... holy shit so much innuendo and stuff went straight over my head when I was a kid. I assumed the prostitutes you pick up were like Luigi's daughters or something...
In a way, I'm glad I didn't get any GTA until I was old enough to understand all the stuff in it. Makes it more fun that way, laughing at their comedy.

It's crazy when you watch cartoons you watched years ago and you suddenly understand what that guy meant when he said that.
Dog
How the hell did we miss that?
im playin GTA SA for the first time and im fucking bombing it (although I aced the train bit which was surprisin) do you just get used to it? i only played Bully and RDR before this so maybe thats why im so surprised when a bunch of thugs smg me to death every time

I must admit, I would feel a bit guilty if I ran over someone's pet. Well, unless it was a chihuahua, or a cat or something. v:v:v
OR it's just something from a cutscene
That's what a lot of people are saying. But what the hell would the point of that be? And what would the point of seemingly hiding it be?
Thing was in every GTA game the first missions were like you going into the game and driving around to your safehouse. I wish that for GTA V, the first ever thing we have to do is not drive to our safehouse. I liked the Saints Row The Third feel of chaos and then after a long shootout, there's that drive to your safehouse shit and intro on things like saving, etc. I mean for the first few missions of most GTA games, I'm like bored as fuck.
I loved the whole driving to the safehouse business. As the game builds up from this. I loved not having a gun at the start of GTA IV, and little money, fighting cops with my bare hands then working my way up. Gave a major feel of progression where as in saints row you feel like you have everything given to you on a platter within the first hour or so (which in saints row is the point do not get me wrong).
That's what a lot of people are saying. But what the hell would the point of that be? And what would the point of seemingly hiding it be?
well, the dog is in a 'cage', so I wouldn't doubt it that it's just a background feature, that you can't interact with however, with RDR having animals, I think it's possible that GTA V does too

But the fact that we've seen two different dogs in the trailer, I don't know. Could just be all mission-based. The dog would probably be interactive, but I just don't see any reason at all why showing those two dogs so opposite of each other shouldn't be.
