what was so bad about IV being gray?
it was just way too gray, felt kinda sad sometimes
it was just way too gray, felt kinda sad sometimes
That's the point.
I know this sounds like a question that would be asked by some stupid 12 year old but how cool would it be to have the last mission where all the characters from the previous Gta join together to fight the corrupt government in San Andreas? Hearing the voice actors all in one game would be epic beyond proportions.
I'd rather they all end up choosing a side and killing each other. Best way Rockstar could kill their characters off like they usually enjoy doing.
I don't buy that rockstar email
the wording on the post itself and the picture don't even match, but why wouldn't they? couldn't he just copy and paste it?
Seems to me the name would be "Rockstar Mouthoff" or something, not "RSGNYC Mouthoff", since everything else Rockstar is in the format 'Rockstar [name]'
How the fuck are there 100 pages with no actual game or info to talk about?

Speculation, lack of game info released.
I expect a new trailer VERY soon. We're already overdue for one, comparing from GTA IV.
I decided to see what GTA IV looks like in full quality...

Oh wow, that's amazing. So crisp and clear compared to mine...
[editline]22nd January 2012[/editline]
Like, even the really far distance stuff. It's so clear!
[editline]22nd January 2012[/editline]
Not to mention, mine runs kind of...uh...unsmooth. I've got so much to look forward to!
I still think we won't see a new trailer until Max Payne 3 is released, but I could be wrong.
You guys owe me five bucks.
probably fake since it's almost the exact same style of the SA map, but I could see something like this working
IV was too gray, both the atmosphere and literally, and everyone complained about it. I'd love a more colorful game
I actually liked the Dark atmosphere, but It wasn't really fitting into a GTA game.
I enjoyed the atmosphere while playing the missions, but when I just wanted to have fun and run around the city, killing people and jumping off buildings, it was just weird

This is a GTA thread, its how they work on any forum.
I just hope this one has Riot mode and pedestrians with guns again, really miss that.
There's not a whole lot of info about GTA V though.. And we've all been through GTA.
I know I'll play through GTA IV and the Episodes through again before GTA V.
Hey, maybe I should go for 100% too :v:

Well, Red Dead Redemption had something like a riot cheat, so let's be optimistic and say Rockstar is bringing crazier cheats back.
Red Dead had some good cheats, so I'm hopeful that Rockstar will bring back fun cheat codes in GTA 5.
There's such a lack of games with cheats codes these days :(
Well, we PC users sometimes get console commands used for modding, but can also be used for cheats so I wouldn't say cheat codes are completely gone.
I've never finished a GTA game without cheats. It feels bad, man.
I actually got to the Angel Pine part of SA without cheats, but the computer I had it on died. And my brother got GTAIII and VC for his Xbox for Christmas, and I can't get past Death Row.
I only need the "Cleaned the Mean Streets" and "Finish Him" achievements, then I can use cheats freely in GTA IV and the episodes.
CryEngine confirmed GTA V!!!!!111

[sp]I know, it's not GTA[/sp]
What the fuck, I keep having problems with San Andreas, it's like it doesn't want me to play it.
First I tried to jump on top of Sweet's house to get the uzi, and I landed wrong and fucking died.
Now I tried doing that mission, "Cleaning The Hood", and during the cutscene where you stand above the crack dealer, and kick him in the face, a cop comes up to me and start beating the shit out of me with his baton and as soon as the cutscene was over, it cut to me lying down, saying the cop busted me.

Yeah, but you had to unlock it doing one of those stupid R* Social Club challenge things.
Redemption was disappointing because of it's near total emphasis on multiplayer. Except for Undead Nightmare, not much else was ever done for singleplayer in terms of DLC.
I mean, I thought maybe we'd see something at some point about Marshal Johnson or Landon Ricketts, because they're both very interesting and unique characters in their own right that could easily have an entire story made up for them, but no. Instead it turned out to be "Buy this new $10 content pack we've got out! It adds a new weapon, the tomahawk, and some classic characters for online games from Red Dead Revolver!"
At least you could use some of the DLC weapons in SP.
Hopefully, they won't have the urge to go in that same direction with GTA V and will find a healthy balance between SP and MP.
Since nothings happening here, have some leaked GTA 5 multiplayer footage.

So real!... oh wait :v:
I wish GTA V have tanks similar to GTA:SA.

I wouldn't mind if they fixed the MP a little though.
[editline]26th January 2012[/editline]
I also wouldn't mind more episodic content. Just don't take forever to get it to PC this time :v:
[editline]26th January 2012[/editline]
And make it more like an extension of the base game, not just more story and new weapons with other stuff removed.
[editline]26th January 2012[/editline]
And why not let us buy houses. I'm sure the countrysides would have cool houses that people wouldn't want anymore.
I wish GTA V have tanks similar to GTA:SA.
Except you could actually aim with them..
