So many hours spent listening to that music.
The thing I've spent so many hours listening too? Not that. No. This. I PRAY TO GOD THERE'S A MISSION WHERE YOU FOLLOW A DAMN TRAIN
The Guys at IGN believe the area where the Wind turbines are is based off an area between San Fran and LA, or something, its between two cities in real life.
They're everywhere in the Californian country side. Between Vegas, San Fran, Bakersfield, Barstow, windmills fucking everywhere. No worries guys, I'm 99.99999% sure as a local of this area my whole life, we're getting 3 cities here based on whats in that trailer alone.
There should be a reference to L.A noire somewhere. That'd make me feel warm n fuzzy. I'm still coping with [sp]Phelps's[/sp] death.
I thought it was vice city in the first few seconds.
I thought it was the area by the beach in Liberty City and was all "AGAIN? FUCK OFF ROCKSTAR!" and then I saw Mt. Chilidad.
As a resident of Las Vegas, I'd like to believe that this is some dirt road coming into the Mojave (and Vegas). Note; the blazing sun, the dirt road, the poor excuses for plants that try to sprout up from the ground out here, and one of the mountains you pass to get from LA to LV. I WANT TO BELIEVE Oh and not to mention the obvious give away (the 5 buck hookers hanging outside a liquor joint).
ACE Also the other card symbols. Maybe it could be the whole state.
look how big everything is. All the mountains in the back. Apart from the third island in GTA III, all 3D-GTAs have been completely surrounded by water. So what we see is what we get, no invisible barriers like in Fallout 3.
Forget what I said about GTA III, you could climb the mountain but there was only one way: using the hard-to-steer Dodo. A reminder how big it is:
Oh wow didn't notice that mountain in the background until now.
I wonder why. :v:
The wrong side of the tracks mission is so overrated, its easy as hell actually. I don't see the fuss behind it :S

That fucking seals it. All of San Andreas for sure.
maybe?
Someone from California Said it
I'm sure someone probably already mentioned this, but if they DO go the multiple protagonist route, and they DO have the other SA areas, each character can be based in one of the 3 major cities. I can only hope and dream that this is the case.
I watched trailer and I'm amazed! This looks awesome!
The wrong side of the tracks mission is so overrated, its easy as hell actually. I don't see the fuss behind it :S
You sir, are a fucking liar. I want you to know that. Second, that PC Gamer theory is so fucking cool if it's true! I WANT TO BELIEVE SO BAD! Oh, for the first time in forever I care about a GTA game! Oh christ! Funfact! I never finished GTA4. Got way too bored of it. Or the DLC's. Think I should do that now?

It's probably located somewhere near LV
maybe?
Postal III tie in confirmed.
If it's near Vegas I better be able to go visit Goodsprings and punch Benny in the dick [editline]2nd November 2011[/editline]
Postal III tie in confirmed.
oh god... TF2 PROMOS INBOUND

The car in this shot, is that a buffalo?
Notice the poker references on the liquor store itself. That fucking seals it. All of San Andreas for sure.
That just confirms Los Venturas along with Los Santos. We need San Fierro confirmation!

In GTA 4 I really liked Niko and if like mid-game you wouldve had to play as some other douchebag, that would've really sucked badly.
That just confirms Los Venturas along with Los Santos. We need San Fierro confirmation!
The mountain in the trailer has to be Chiliad, notice the groups of trees, instead of them being all over, to mention, it didn't look anything like the LA mountains shown. Chiliad is directly south of SF, SF's probably in it.
The car in this shot, is that a buffalo?
I keep thinking it's like a Sabre, but it's not the same.
wtf
I'm just gonna keep posting GTA Themes. [editline]2nd November 2011[/editline]
wtf
oh for chrissakes not this Bigfoot thing again
Is it just me or does this info seem more like it could be true now?
I like how he put spoiler tags around that shit...
