Thinking about it, the trailer's narration kinda makes me sad, assuming how the story will go, and the theme. He talks about having a family, and he used to be in crime. But obviously, he'll have to go back to that for some reason, and he may even become to the point where he gets greedy with money, and all his plans with his wife having a family are ruined.

I'm being optimistic and hoping the release is earlier than July.

So everybody but Vercetti has a reason to be in SA? Claude - Was seen in GTA: SA in that mission. CJ - Was in SA Niko - Had a ticket (Or what I have read from here, it was Packies, so instead of Niko, Packie is there?) Any clues about Tommy then?

As good as those graphics look, remember how different the GTA 4 reveal trailer looked compared to the final product? I can only imagine that the final version of GTA 5 is going to look even better than that trailer. Well this June sources supposedly close to Rockstar said that GTA V was in its final stages and that mini-games were now being added. If the sources did have insider info, then a May 24th release could definitely be possible. The only thing is the release of Max Payne 3. They might be holding out the GTA V release date to get as many sales as possible for Max Payne. But damn if V gets released in 2012 its going to be a good year for Rockstar.

Going back to the May release speculation, the Wii U is coming out between May and August. Its a long shot, but its still an oppurtunity to sell more copies if its on another platform.

Why do you guys think Tommy Vercetti? GTA 1 was it's own Era, GTA 2 was it's own Era, GTA 3, VC, SA, LCS and VCS is it's own Era, and GTA4 (and probably 5) is it's own era.

Theres no proof it includes the whole state. The trailer only showed LS. People keep going on about Mt. Chiliad, forgetting that the area around LA(and SoCal in general) is very mountainous. I've also seen people saying that the oil derricks are proof of Venturas, even though LA sits on one of the biggest oilfields in the world and has drills everywhere, and LS is quite clearly visible in the background. Take off the super-optimist glasses, its just Los Santos + SoCal countryside
