Holy shit, I just realized dogs are in the game. First scene in the trailer on the beach.
I'm so happy there are planes back in the game. I think they know what their fans like. I was imagining a Hispanic man but I'm not sure the voice would match. Who knows. also, have you guys seen the youtube comments? People want it in a new place like Japan. They say its "boring" HAHA
Cutscenes =//= Gameplay, even if it's all in-engine.
It wasn't all cutscenes. Maybe a few parts where, but most of it was definitely actually taken from gameplay.
Holy fuck that looks a lot better than I imagined.
I find that cola poster hilarious. You would expect it to say "Infectiously Delicious", but it actually says "Deliciously Infectious" It's the small things like that which make me love this series.
PLANES MOTHERFUCKER, PLANES
Yeah That's the only bit I'm slightly excited for.
Cutscenes =//= Gameplay, even if it's all in-engine.
In GTAIV i thought the cutscense looked worse than the actual gameplay. Mainly because everything was close up and you could see the characters for the crash test models they were.
Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake (the song used in the trailer) was released on May 24. :o
yeah we all saw a dog but then we will see that they are only a part of a series of cut-scenes :( Though, it would make sense when going from RDR.
Holy shit, I just realized dogs are in the game. So will there be a pc version? I don't want to get hyped and then become disappointed.
Aw shit I'm gonna miss playing GTA V Singleplayer without Big Smoke
I only just realised it now, but planes are back! :v: Cropdusting city time
I don't get the hype about the graphics. It looks like a slightly improved GTAIV with ENB.
There will be profound hemorrhaging on the part of my CPU and Gfx board if I ever try to run this on my current computer. edit: Which means I'm probably going to play GTA V at 10fps, my feet resting in a quickly growing pool of blood.

Lol check out the LSPD Motto: "Obey & Survive"
there's a zeppelin.
I hope that the physics/animation for pedestrians is the same as GTA IV, or improved to be less drunk maybe.
It wasn't all cutscenes. Maybe a few parts where, but most of it was definitely actually taken from gameplay.
By gameplay I mean someone actually playing the game. So you see how the game is played. This isn't that. This is just panning shots around the environment.
Cutscenes =//= Gameplay, even if it's all in-engine.
The car chase wasn't a cutscene though, that was in-game with the cinematic camera enabled.
There is only ONE small aspect of the trailer I don't like. Dammit Rockstar, I want LED lightbars on the Police cruisers. I'm sure the modding community will eventually fix this like they did in GTA IV, but dammit!
Those are awful
I hope that the physics/animation for pedestrians is the same as GTA IV, or improved to be less drunk maybe.
It looks like it uses the Red Dead Redemption/Max Payne 3 version of euphoria.
I don't get the hype about the graphics. At least now the shadow and texture quality is bearable.
The deer rumor got me thinking, how awful would it be if you're doing a mission, chasing a guy down the highway and OH SHIT SHIT A DEER. You fail the mission because your car is destroyed. [editline]2nd November 2011[/editline]
Some of the ENB efffects looked good, but they were still over shit quality assets from IV and the shadows were still total crap. The character models are really realistic now. Even in IV there was some cartoon-like body structure, but these are pretty much real people now.
I hope that at six stars the army will deploy jet fighters like in GTA san Andreas, so you can have dog-fights. T'was a pretty fun side activity in San Andreas, watching them crash all the way into the ground after shooting them with heatseeking missiles. Imagine if they would increase the PC online player limit to 64 players: Massive air war.
Judging by some of the shit, it uses Max Payne 3's version of the engine and not RDR's although technically MP3's is built off RDR's anyway.
I'm starting to believe that the game features all three cities since Los Santos doesn't seem to be that large (I mean it's big but it seems to be smaller than LC). That is, or there is a huge countryside without any further cities.
Just going by the size of the world in RDR, they could quite easily work on SA in this new engine I expect. Especially if it has had some improvements between then and now. I just hope the planes are pilotable and actually fun to use. I missed them in GTA IV.
