Cutscenes =//= Gameplay, even if it's all in-engine.
Rockstar doesn't do pre rendered. The footage in the trailer was probably captured straight from the dev kits they use. I remember reading an interview where they said they did that to capture GTA4's screen shots.

Waiting for an official confirmation from rockstar that the setting is the entire San Andreas map.

By gameplay I mean something where you see what the game actually looks like while you're playing it. This trailer for example has clips with actual gameplay (hence why it's called a gameplay trailer): I'm not saying that the trailer should have any proper gameplay, it's a reveal trailer for gods sake. But I just thought that it was silly that people say the trailer has "gameplay" in it.
Wow, finally some color.
Can't wait to Fuck bitches and get money. I hope there's another glitch like the swing set glitch from GTA 4.
I hope lazlow is back, hes fucking great.
"ACTUAL GAMEPLAY" Du du dun duuu Also, I will paint the Earth with jizz if the main character is Tommy, or at least he is in the game somehow.
I will be insanely happy if we get given a Camera and lots of Woods to explore. One of the greatest things about San Andreas was exploring the woods with your camera, searching for Bigfoot (even if i knew he wasn't in the game). Of course, it would be even better if they actually added him this time.
yea i wonder if we can get to take it for a walk or i saw before on here that rodents might be in it so we could be able to get a mouse, hamster, etc and buy diff types of cages, stroke it , etc and maybe do this type of stuff with other animals, who knows i hope so
Maybe you can like, train them and stuff, and have dog fights and cock fights, like you know.
Maybe you can like, train them and stuff, and have dog fights and cock fights, like you know.
GTA V isn't a facebook game. That would just be a stupid gameplay feature.
"ACTUAL GAMEPLAY" Du du dun duuu Also, I will paint the Earth with jizz if the main character is Tommy, or at least he is in the game somehow.
Oh I'll be there
I don't really want dogs in the game. Then when I accidentally run over them in a murderous rampage I'll feel bad...
I wonder what music will be in the game? Please bring back K-DST.
I hope it's optimized well, otherwise I doubt I'll be able to run it
RustySpannerz;33091796']I find that cola poster hilarious. You would expect it to say "Infectiously Delicious", but it actually says "Deliciously Infectious" It's the small things like that which make me love this series.
This poster always used to make me laugh: Making fun of True Crime: Streets of LA
needs some radio x
Oh and please tell me they improved RDR's euphoria code and added it? PLEASE!?
Aw shit I'm gonna miss playing GTA V Singleplayer without Big Smoke

I'm so happy there are planes back in the game. I think they know what their fans like. I was imagining a Hispanic man but I'm not sure the voice would match. Who knows. also, have you guys seen the youtube comments? People want it in a new place like Japan. They say its "boring" HAHA
I thought it almost sounded like Ray Liotta. This may be a stretch, but what if it's the game takes place within the past few years, and it's Tommy Vercetti from Vice City. It talks about settling down, and trying to start a new life, buying a big house. Tommy was loaded towards the end, and i can imagine the West coast is about as far as you can get from Miami while still staying in the US. The time frame seems semi-legitimate age wise, considering he was probably early to late 20's in the game set in 86, so even if it was current he would be late 50's or somewhere around there. That's my crazy theory.
I don't really want dogs in the game. Then when I accidentally run over them in a murderous rampage I'll feel bad...
If there are dogs, I hope for cats as well. I would be perfectly alright with using a kitten as a gun silencer.
Really guys, don't get your hopes up about Tommy being in it. I don't see it happening.
There is only ONE small aspect of the trailer I don't like. Dammit Rockstar, I want LED lightbars on the Police cruisers. I'm sure the modding community will eventually fix this like they did in GTA IV, but dammit!
If it's late 90's early 2000 then it shouldn't be too far off. I hadn't noticed most people switching completely over to the LED light bars until more recently.
In 1986, Tommy was 35, not in his 20s. He'd be too old to be running people over and causing mayhem.
If there is animals I hope this happens in game while biking in the country
In 1986, Tommy was 35, not in his 20s. He'd be too old to be running people over and causing mayhem.
Ah, good point. I didn't even think to search his age, guess i was just going be how i thought he looked. Then again, everyone looked the same in that game.
In 1986, Tommy was 35, not in his 20s. I don't know if this has been mentioned yet or not, but I'm curious as to whether Patrick McReary's scene during The Ballad of Gay Tony's credits- wherein he is boarding a west bound flight- will play into GTA V at all. Not as the protagonist himself, but as a companion and friend. It may be possible, seeing how odd it was that they showed those scenes with little explanation. But, I am going to wait for further information before I make [more] ridiculous assumptions.

radio stations sucked in IV but obliterated in SA and VC hope they got good tunes this time around
