#1 wish for GTA V? The ability to take down trees.
It'd have to be a varied thing, as some trees would ruin most vehicles.
Random events/encounters like in RDR would be nice. like going through some streets around ganton and finding gangs fighting eachother. or rarely finding police officers raiding homes

They should actually look at Mafia II for inspiration there, that game really did have a living breathing city. Everywhere you went people were doing something, and that something generally had a tiny amount of back story. Like the creepy apartment cleaner, who would eavesdrop on people in their homes.
Oh my god, SAN ANDREAS! After all those Liberty Cities, my favorite state is revisited! On a related note, can someone explain to me why Liberty City as a game location is so wanked over and has kept getting featured? Is LC so loved because nostalgia? Is it the "Portal Effect", I.E everyone remembers LC because of what a massive leap forward in innovation GTA3 was and wants it revisited repeatedly for that reason? Or did I miss something really crucial about LC that makes everyone think it's a great city despite that both San Andreas and possibly Vice City were equally or more diverse areas?
I wonder if the GTA IV SA team is going to port San Andreas to GTA V.
trucks with trailers? FUCK YES
You'd think it wouldn't be hard at all, but all 14 games in the Grand Theft Auto franchise have all suffered the "invulnerable trees" issue.
That's what they WANTED you to think. That is was hard. Little do we know...
who was it who posted the pic of the "Huntley Sport" a few pages back that's not a Huntley Sport, that's the real deal that's right gentlemen, we are getting a proper Huntley again. REJOICE!
I'm looking foward to a bigger map, with variation too. GTA IV got boring after a while, everything was homogenised and even a tad claustrophobic. I want to explore outside of the city.
I'm really glad the protagonist isn't a hispanic youth. In fact this could be the most interesting protagonist yet, seeing as he's most likely already lived a life of crime, as opposed to being a newcomer.
He is hispanic. The guy they focused on a lot in the trailer (the dude in the car in the beginning, then the same guy driving away from cops, then flying by in a sports car) is named Adrian and he's hispanic.

REJOICE!
Ah yes, the Huntley Sport is like one of those SUVs for people who have never seen mud. With countryside comes actual offroad vehicles.
I love how all the plants, posters and awnings in the trailer are animated. It really makes everything feel that much more immersive.
Random events/encounters like in RDR would be nice. like going through some streets around ganton and finding gangs fighting eachother. or rarely finding police officers raiding homes
Car crashes that happen randomly on the Interstates during rush hour causing mile-long backups, and as you drive by you can see the first responders working. :v:
Random events/encounters like in RDR would be nice. like going through some streets around ganton and finding gangs fighting eachother. or rarely finding police officers raiding homes
or catching cops doing a Rodney King on someone

Looks much more Italian to me.
That leaked info was false, and clearly that guy isn't hispanic. Looks much more Italian to me.
He also said the trailer would be 1 minute 4 seconds even though it was thirty seconds longer.
I wonder if the GTA IV SA team is going to port San Andreas to GTA V.
If it turns out to be set in San Andreas, I can see why the GTA IV SA guys would be a bit pissed off, since they spent all this time working on getting San Andreas to the IV engine and graphics only to find out that Rockstar themselves have basically been doing the same thing. Of course the mod and the new game wont be exactly the same and it'll probably be awesome to see the old San Andreas map on the IV engine, but still.
My money is on this. http://www.pcgamer.com/2011/11/02/gta-5-multiple-protagonists-theory-the-evidence/
or catching cops doing a Rodney King on someone
This was in San Andreas. If you got into the Los Santos PD underground car park on the bottom level in the back corner there were a couple of cops beating up a random ped.
I really don't want this.
Looks legit now.
San Andreas has been featured just as much as Liberty City, with this upcoming installment.
There was GTAIII, Liberty City Stories, GTA: Advance, Chinatown Wars and GTAIV w/ expansions. San Andreas has only seen one game.
Yes I've seen it. He also said the trailer was 1:04 and the protagonist speaks at the end
San Andreas has been featured just as much as Liberty City, with this upcoming installment.
Not even close.
RustySpannerz;33095485']There was GTAIII, Liberty City Stories, GTA: Advance, Chinatown Wars and GTAIV w/ expansions. San Andreas has only seen one game.
There wasn't even a SA Stories for gods sake
RustySpannerz;33095485']There was GTAIII, Liberty City Stories, GTA: Advance, Chinatown Wars and GTAIV w/ expansions. San Andreas has only seen one game.
LC and SA were in the first game :eng101: Still just as much wrong though.
RustySpannerz;33095485']There was GTAIII, Liberty City Stories, GTA: Advance, Chinatown Wars and GTAIV w/ expansions. San Andreas has only seen one game.
san andreas was in gta 1 goddamnit ninjad
Judging by the trailer I dont think that we will see San Andreas in its old shape... Oil pumps directly near Los Santos? I think they restructured the whole thing, made it smaller but added way more detail, just like Liberty City.
They just made it more realistic, there are oil pumps and drills all over LA, it sits on a pretty big reserve
