Vice City must be in GTA VI if every city has been in the GTA at least twice.
My money is on this.

This is really interesting, would love if it was true.

Uhh no because I don't like the whole, criminal youth turf war gangsta shit (if the leak was true). Having an older protagonist is much more interesting in my opinion. Their ethnicity is irrelevant.
RustySpannerz;33095485']There was GTAIII, Liberty City Stories, GTA: Advance, Chinatown Wars and GTAIV w/ expansions.
San Andreas has only seen one game.
Ah, sorry, I was only thinking of the main games.

Why do you associate hispanic with turf war gangsta shit
He could be a very nice and pleasant chap
That trailer was a total fake, this is the genuine one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=reKeJ2cJTjk
Rockstar you had me worried there for minute.

I was talking about the leak to which the which the character was referenced.
So, ideas on release date? I'm thinking May due to the hints we've seen and the fact it's 6 months after premiere, which happened with LA Noire and Max Payne 3. Also was intended for GTA IV.
If not May, October. December at the latest and that's saying a repeat of IV's technical issues occur. Hopefully that doesn't happen however as they seem to be using the same engine.
Oh, going by previous patterns we can expect the next trailer in 3 to 4 months.

But that leak says he's hispanic and called Adrian...We don't know anything about the characters yet!

I'm kinda expecting something at the VGAs next month. Then maybe February/March with a release date attached.
Exactly, same engine and overall tech means this game was probably much easier to develop, and there shouldn't be a delay. What's also good is it probably means they put more of an emphasis on the gameplay, as the tech aspect was already set from day one.
I'm really glad the protagonist isn't a hispanic youth. In fact this could be the most interesting protagonist yet, seeing as he's most likely already lived a life of crime, as opposed to being a newcomer.
all gta protagonists are seasoned criminals???

Exactly why I feel like May. Rockstar usually likes to take 5-7 months after premiere to do a release. May feels right. There were also some numbers popping up hinting towards the 24th of May, Houser's birthday.
My only problem with the May theory is that it's very close to MP3 and I'm not sure if Rockstar will try to compete with itself. That's why I'll place a sidebet on October.
So, when are we doing Bully 2 rockstar?
I'll buy it. I swear.
Don't know about you guys but I want that jet from the trailer.
I've missed jets

I always wanted Jimmy Hopkins to return as the protagonist in a GTA game, to be honest. Seemed like a good setup, and he seemed cool enough to make the cut.

Sorry if I wasn't clear, I have no problem with an Hispanic character and he does sound like a nice guy.
It's the premise of the story I don't like. Having a the Hispanic character merely confirms the leak is all.
"You start out in rival's turf, after being beaten and robbed"
But it's Rockstar which have yet to disappoint and I'm sure it'll be great fun no matter what it is.
I hope Sjaak makes a Simple Native Trainer for this.
The only thing I'm looking for is more inside areas. There were a few in IV, but having even 40 or 50 percent of buildings have inside areas would be fucking awesome.

It's also pretty cool the the song in the trailer was released on the 24th of May.
I would really love for more dynamic situations in cities. Like people mentioned, RDR did it well in the wilderness, and in the towns and cities you occasionally saw some random event. But they were kind of limited. I would love to see random roadblocks from crashes or repair work every few weeks in game or something, so if you decide to go for a drive without piling through everything, you suffer the delays and re-routing of a proper drive. Or random robberies, and as someone said, police raids from time to time.
It would make the cities feel so much more than what Rockstar let them be most times.

I'd be uncomfortable playing as a character kill people when I've seen them as a kid
In other news...
Should I finish GTA 4? Is it worth it?

Yes
Looking at the new trailer, it looks like they're basically putting all the cool stuff from San Andreas that they cut, back into GTA 4 (Properties, trailers)
Will be buying.
One thing that still kinda irks me (not in a bad way or anything) is how by the narrative in the trailer suggests the protagonist (if the narrator IS the protagonist) is starting already well-off financially and knowing much of the criminal world. Guess I'm used to starting off as a small-time criminal in the previous GTAs and working your way up.
Either that or something happens to the protagonist sometime in the game.
it's not confirmed that the narrator in the trailer is the protagonist
I'm just assuming and making a bad guess. Since this trailer basically is how the first GTA IV trailer went. Narrator - shots of location - multiple shots of what looks to be the main character - logo.
I want to see a proper building with an inside, and lot a tiny little shack or apartment. I want to be able to walk into a tower block somewhere, And take it over, hiding on the top floor, making a stronghold.
Also, that reminds me. stealth, so we can hide, and not be found by magic genie police.
Just saw the Trailer. Hot damn, looks like I'll never be able to run a game like this on my computer.

It's strange seeing a dog in a GTA game
