One thing that still kinda irks me (not in a bad way or anything) is how by the narrative in the trailer suggests the protagonist is starting already well-off financially and knowing much of the criminal world. Guess I'm used to starting off as a small-time criminal in the previous GTAs and working your way up. Either that or something happens to the protagonist sometime in the game. I'm just assuming. Reminds me of how the first GTA IV trailer went.
I'd say an armed robbery gone wrong and a spell in jail but that's what happened in GTA 3...
I really really hope it's the whole San Andreas, but since the evidence isn't conclusive yet, I don't want to give myself any false hopes :(. How long do we have to wait now for more information!
3 things I wanna see again -Bicycles, just to see how it works with Euphoria (Well if they use Euphoria again) -Cop bikes (Thought they added some realism, shocked they weren't in IV since it pretty much took place in NYC) -Combine Harvesters (Most brutal thing I've seen in GTA)

There's no rule stating that each game has to start you off as a low-life thug and follow your rise to the top of your given criminal empire, it just happens to be how Rockstar has done it a lot in the past.
From Reddit
The biggest one no one seems to have gotten yet: Las Puerta (as seen on the freeway sign, which is obviously located near the 101/110 in downtown LA because of the Little Tokyo reference) is probably San Diego, since the I-5 freeway in the real LA is called the San Diego freeway. Since Las Puerta means "the entrance" it could be a reference to the Mexican border and illegal immigration which is sure to play a part in the game. Some more ideas: Convertible top scene is OBVIOUSLY in Venice beach. Santa Monica pier is shown. Golf course is possibly Wilshire Country Club. Beach houses (with yoga) are possibly in Malibu. Muscle beach is obviously Venice beach. Bugstars heist scene looks like the Sunset Strip or Hollywood. Scene directly after that of a blue convertible shows the Capitol Records building so it's in Hollywood. They show the U.S. Bank building many times from a distance and once from next door at the Mile High condos construction site. Homeless people look like they're in an underpass for 110 downtown. First street bridge (which was in LA Noire) is shown with a sports car on it.

-Cop bikes (Thought they added some realism, shocked they weren't in IV since it pretty much took place in NYC)
They added Police bikes in TBOGT
They added Police bikes in TBOGT
MP only
-Cop bikes (Thought they added some realism, shocked they weren't in IV since it pretty much took place in NYC)
There were Police Bikes in TBoGT I believe. EDIT: I hate ninjas.
Haven't gotten a chance to play TBOGT yet, I got it on Steam but messed it up trying to install mods
You can verify the integrity so it unfucks it up.
I think i'll always remember the first time i watched the GTA V trailer; on my iphone, in a toilet stall, at our local cinema... I was squat 'n surfing before Tintin and saw that it was up. I just HAD to see it!

There is a confiscation policy in effect on phones, so I risked something. Sound was off so I didn't jizz till I got home.
Who is the leading character? cause I don't see who. I think the older guy who turns around but don't know for sure
no one knows for sure, but i reckon it is
Did anyone else think the music was amazing? Talking about the theme that repeats towards the end of the trailer, it sounds like the best GTA theme to date.
no one knows for sure, but i reckon it is
he's also driving some cars I think. Din't watch that close though
I loved how the jet felt like a actual jet, compared to almost every other game that has them (BF3,SR3, ect). They got the speed and sound just right on that.
he's also driving some cars I think. Din't watch that close though
I think he was one of the guys with a silenced AK. The hair and general structure looked pretty similar.
I'm loving the what appears to be OD AK-74s in this game.

[sp]Not quite, but multiple protagonists is possible[/sp] [editline]2nd November 2011[/editline] [sp]Oh, the dog is playable too[/sp]
-Snip- End of page.
I want a lot more random events, such as the earlier suggestions of police kicking in doors etc. I would also like to see police arresting certain civilians randomly or perhaps a gang war opening up and the police showing up.
I want riots and jobs
Riots would be neat, imagine the chaos you could cause in one!
I want the ability to make an honest living that doesn't involve jacking a taxi. :v:
I would really love for more dynamic situations in cities. Like people mentioned, RDR did it well in the wilderness, and in the towns and cities you occasionally saw some random event. But they were kind of limited. I would love to see random roadblocks from crashes or repair work every few weeks in game or something, so if you decide to go for a drive without piling through everything, you suffer the delays and re-routing of a proper drive. Or random robberies, and as someone said, police raids from time to time. It would make the cities feel so much more than what Rockstar let them be most times.
Or a news station that'll report a car chase or shoot out if you get into one in real time and dynamically, not just sometime after a mission.
Riots would be neat, imagine the chaos you could cause in one!
I'd be shocked if they didn't bring back the riot cheat, no fun cheats was one of the universal complaints for GTA4.
Oh man I just want to hang out in that fancy city and BLOW IT TO HELL
I would love to see when the police hunt you down via helicopter more gunfire against you to make it seem threatening rather than the couple of shots in GTA IV.
