I kinda wish i could customize my/or a character
The game would be made for me if the cops still yelled "GET OUT OF THE WAY, PEOPLE!"
I want as many or more cheats than there were in GTA San Andreas. The lack of good and funny cheats in GTA 4 were disappointing.
guys just noticed something in the trailer I'd grab a screenshot but don't have time atm, at 35 seconds in, the black guy in the white hoodie, when he's leaning against the poster the yellow colour "bleeds' onto his jacket, like you get with radiosity/indirect illumination (also happens in gta iv with icenhancer or a lot of ENB configs) It's subtle, but it's a nice touch.. part of what makes it look so much better than GTA IV in my opinion
I want the ability to make an honest living that doesn't involve jacking a taxi. :v:
GTA V, Now a real life simulator. Get a real honest paying job! Raise a family! Pay taxes!
oh man I can't wait [editline]2nd November 2011[/editline]
Or a news station that'll report a car chase or shoot out if you get into one in real time and dynamically, not just sometime after a mission.
wouldn't be much of a point in that since you won't be able to watch it while committing said crime unless you rob a TV store or something like that

I'm sooo excited for this. I just want a GTA where I can get out of the city again.
Plus, even though I know why, but locking achivements forever sorta gets rid of the fun of the cheats for collectionists like me
With the PS3 version of GTA 4, reloading a save unrestricts the achievements. I'm guessing it doesn't do that on the PC version?
I'm not sure how this would pan out, but it would be very cool if the story was structured much like GTA IV, where you play start to finish as the protagonist, without much customization, or without building any stats like how you did in SA..but upon completion of the story, it unlocked a "free play mode", which basically allows you to make a custom character however you wish, and rather then story missions, you would simply start the game with all locations unlocked. There would just be missions such as turf wars, races, or stealing drugs from an enemy (no plot, in other words - you would be a hired man on a random job), but you would have to buy your own property and raise your own money through miscellaneous missions. In this free mode you would also be able to build your stats in order to further customize your character (if you want to get fat, eat a lot - if you want an intimidating character, work out a lot). So in other words, stats are only unlocked upon entering free play mode. Doing that would add a bunch of re playability that people seemed to complain about in GTA IV (being that once you complete the story, there wasn't much to mess around with - although I disagree with this statement, a lot of people felt that way). It would essentially give you more reason to continue exploring the city, and it would give people an incentive/huge reward for completing the lengthy story. But at the same time, it would keep the main plot structured and planned the way Rockstar meant for it to be. I mean, imagine Niko if he was fat and wore gangster clothing, just because they decided to allow for customization? It wouldn't be as meaningful of a story. Agrees/disagrees?
Jetpacks. How will those fare in GTA V? Not like the one in GTASA (where flying is straightforward and perfect), but more of a near uncontrollable physics-raped jetpack just for shits and giggles.
Now to get attacked by ghost cars in the froest and to look around the urban legends
I want tons of intentional urban legend references.

Agrees/disagrees?
so it could be a sandbox mode like Dead Rising 2 Off the Record? I like how the stats from sandbox carried over and i think that would be cool if they added it. I liked the stats in SA. It gave me something to do inbetween missions, eating, working out, etc. Also, i would like to take part in a triathlon, that was fun in SA.
For some reason, this looked more like a The Sims 4 trailer than a GTA trailer for me.

Fuck yes, been waiting for something like this.
I'm thinking the next new footage or major info spill will be at the Spike Video Game Awards this December.
I'm not saying that it should have ridiculous in depth customization but I think they could make basic stuff like gender work
Gender is to big of a factor for story lines.

This is what I thought. Didn't think so far but I thought it was that guy.
Please add different types of dogs please. At least throw in a Labrador and a German Shephard. Oh can we walk our dogs? Here's my ~artstic~ rendition of what would end up happening.

I just watched this. It's so much dumb stuff.
Here's my ~artstic~ rendition of what would end up happening.
Rockstar pay attention to this.

I don't get it, maybe it's just me but I can't see how the presumed lead role resembles Tommy Vercetti or why every black man must be Carl Johnson.
Despite the fact that it seems to only be San Andreas, I REALLY want to see a remastered Vice City.
I don't get it, maybe it's just me but I can't see how the presumed lead role resembles Tommy Vercetti or why every black man must be Carl Johnson.
Not to mention CJ would have to be immortal to still be in his 20's, 20 years after San Andreas.
Not to mention CJ would have to be immortal to still be in his 20's, 20 years after San Andreas.
CJ is a millionaire really, you even see him on billboards in Liberty City

Machinima did a better trailer analyst (starts ~1:30).
CJ is a millionaire really, you even see him on billboards in Liberty City
Really? Where? I never saw him.
I have concluded the general population at gtaforums.com are idiots
