There should be a button for exactly that, pushing people off cliffs
that could be a mission
"go to mount whatever, kill whoever, make it look like an accident by pushing him off the cliff"
complete with slow mo cinematic camera of the guy falling.
Something tells me there WILL be a mission like that. Calling it now.
Time to play GTA United.
So much... GTA SA... NOSTALGIA.
Need to resist!
They better add this;

Why would R* add dinousaurs to a game like GTA?

I'd rather play GTA like I've always done without dinosaurs.
As if dinosaurs wouldn't improve any game tenfold.

Remember Dino D-Day?
Remember Dino D-Day?
Imagine how bad the game would be without the dinosaurs.
What are the predictions for release dates?
24th May is a possible one. I've also seen some other dates like 12th July but those are just speculations.

IF it is May 24th, why the fuck does it have to come during my exam period.
Here comes bad grades!
How will weapon selection work? Will it be like Red Dead Redemption, where you have a rotary menu?
What about weapons in general? Is Ammunation back or are we doing it like we did in GTAIV?

Difficult to answer considering we don't know anything apart from what we saw in the trailer.
I finished my comparison trailer: http://www.facepunch.com/threads/1138211?p=33133799
I doubt it's coming out in May. The Rockstar hype machine gives itself more than 6 months before a GTA game comes out.

Honestly? RDR and LA Noire both released 6 months after their premiere trailer. LA Noire was Bondi but RDR was a Rockstar studio. I can see May happening and I can see it not happening. May is my earliest assumption followed by October.

Sure, but GTA is a much bigger game sales wise than those. People who don't know about gaming know about GTA. GTA IV's first trailer and release was a 13 month split.

So what? Even though it was released later, it still came out to be one of THE BEST games there is.
IMO, GTA V is gonna be worth the delay. And I hope it actually comes after my exams to reduce the amount of distraction during my studying.

GTA IV was also the first RAGE engine game, and first big title rockstar game on the current generation consoles. Looks like rockstar's doing viral marketing for GTA V, and I wouldn't be surprised if it came out within 6 months considering all those things

Actually, Table Tennis was the first RAGE game.

Fun and somewhat unknown fact. GTA IV suffered a major delay on the PS3. GTA IV was originally scheduled I believe to debut 6 or 7 months after its first trailer. They said they hit a roadbump with the PS3 and some other minor issues that they'd have to work out.
If it's the same engine, we won't be hitting roadbumps. I feel confident to expect it by next year, probably around Summer time if not Fall.

i always wondered why you couldn't play table tennis with friends in GTA IV after they made that

I think GTA 4 was supposed to be released 6 months after the first trailer but because of some problems with the PS3 version they had to delay it.
I can guarantee that it's currently slated for a date within the next 6 months. Why?
>Take Two has a release where they expect their shares to go up by 2. The only game to ever do that was GTA 4. The only other game set for release in that time period by Take Two is Max Payne 3, which, while being good, doesn't have half of the audience of GTA.
>Rockstar has a history of doing 6 month release after trailer. GTA4 would have been 6 months if not for the PS3 delay.
>The '6 months' coincides pretty well with the '2405' found in the trailer. (This is Sam Houser's birthday, but it also may be the projected release.)

So we'll have the PC version in time for the holidays, right?

Bam. I'd be surprised if it wasn't May. Rockstar doesn't do many November releases. I can't recall any in December. We all know not to expect it in the beginning of the year Jan/Feb/Mar. May is also the kick off to summer for most people. May/June.
So we'll have the PC version in time for the holidays, right?
My first guess is yes, I wouldn't be too surprised for it to come out with all the other versions. (It would be very awesome if that happened)

What about weapons in general? Is Ammunation back or are we doing it like we did in GTAIV?
A rotary menu could work well, but RDR used that mostly due to every weapon you found being stored in Hammerspace somewhere on/ in the character. GTA has always had a Anus of Holding for your character, but never really allowed you to carry more than one of the same class of weapon, so the Rotary might go to waste when next/ previous buttons have worked so well.

On topic-I think we'll stick to the classic GTA methods. RDR had a lot more weapons and they could all be carried at the same time. GTA locks you to 1 of each type.
Off topic-I like your avatar.
