I hated how RDR used the same ammo for different guns, i know its realistic but you ran out of ammo fast
On topic-I think we'll stick to the classic GTA methods. RDR had a lot more weapons and they could all be carried at the same time. GTA locks you to 1 of each type. Off topic-I like your avatar.
Adjustable hardons are a good investment.

Did someone else noticed how bland this scene looks? Looks like something from Driver Parallel Lines, GTA SA or Mafia. I hope that's still WIP. But why would they choose that scene when they have so much else if it wasn't WIP. I shouldn't worry so much.
I sincerely hope there isn't any of that unnecessary attribute skill leveling shit they had in GTA:SA. "You can become the master swimmer if you pointlessly swim a lot!" Or "Use only a bicycle and soon you'll become the master biker so you can drive faster than cars!" inb4 disagrees from nerds who have an obsession with maxing out character abilities/skills like in Elder Scrolls.

I liked only using one.
GTA V/GTA SA Comparison Video
Let's all post that video.
That comparision vid is awesome.

...anyway, I expect PC on release, they've had their new engine for ages now and I doubt they'll go about things the way they did with gta iv edit: Also, don't use L.A. noire as a reason as to why they "wont" L.A. noire was developped as a console game to begin with, and was in development for what, 7 years? they only intended to push it out on consoles because lets face it, 7 years is a lot of time to develop the game for console as well as port it over to PC (which if they really wanted to do in the first place, they'd have done simultaneously to begin with)

Second - L.A. Noire is being ported right now and is scheduled for a release on the 8th November.

I doubt we'll see it on release. We'd be fortunate enough to see it by the holiday season, if that. Red Dead never made it to the PC. A damn shame because it's a fantastic game. I'm not personally bothered. I enjoy Rockstar titles more on consoles. Feels right.
I enjoy Rockstar titles more on consoles. Feels right.
Why should someone like me have to buy a separate system just to play one or two games?
First of all - all GTA games have been released on the PC. Second - L.A. Not to mention that they've said they don't want to do things that way again (console first then leave port til after, or whatever), i'll see if I can find a source on that though
you missed my point, you assumed i was saying l.a. noire wasn't being ported when i was trying to say that if it was intended for pc in the first place it wouldn't need to be ported after release, and as such isn't a reason for people to say gta v will be ported to pc after console release.
And it isn't a well known fact that all GTA games have been released at least half an year later on the PC?
Why should someone like me have to buy a separate system just to play one or two games?
Because Sony and Microsoft have big wallets.
Why should someone like me have to buy a separate system just to play one or two games?
No one says you have to buy the console. If you don't want a console, don't buy it. Most people I know own consoles however and Rockstar develops their shit on consoles first. I'm surprised we're even getting LA Noire. No one is forcing you to buy the consoles. You just are going to miss out on the games that release on it. Shit sucks but its been going on for years.
And it isn't a well known fact that all GTA games have been released at least half an year later on the PC?
But the thing is there's no reason for it, they've already got RAGE running on pc, so it makes no sense to have to port the engine all over again (assuming the game engine is the same and it's just new features/shaders, rather than all new code)

We all know that. Bitching about it doesn't change the facts.
It's a marketing gimmick. We all know that. Bitching about it doesn't change the facts.
I guess you have a point there, appeal to console market first, get as many sales as you can out of that then release to pc, seeing as most people will probably buy it for a console instead of pc anyway, with the pc release being more of a fan service these days...

And that money isn't going to Sony or Microsoft either.

It makes sense from a business standpoint. I bought a 360 and a PS3. I don't use them much, but they're nice to have for times like this. My PS3 is useful for blu-ray however. 360 is just a waste of space.
And it isn't a well known fact that all GTA games have been released at least half an year later on the PC?
I guess you mean only the recent ones, as in ignoring gta 1, 2 and london?
Give credit where its due:
Yeah go say that to every single thread in the Videos and Flash Movies section. Anyways i forgot about how stuck-up nerds can be.
I guess you mean only the recent ones, as in ignoring gta 1, 2 and london?
PC has been fucked in the ass since Vice City. You mentioned it being easier to do because same engine and such. San Andreas was on the same engine as Vice and came out on the PC late. 8 months late.
Horses, add them in GTA5. Police horses!
