Horses, add them in GTA5. imagine Police horses!
GTA: Toronto.
Yeah go say that to every single thread in the Videos and Flash Movies section. Anyways i forgot about how stuck-up nerds can be.
The guy posted a link to his video on the previous page and he mentioned he was making it in this thread a few days ago. What the fuck is your problem?
PC has been fucked in the ass since Vice City. You mentioned it being easier to do because same engine and such. San Andreas was on the same engine as Vice and came out on the PC late. 8 months late.
You have a point there, and I'm inclined to agree with you that there's a high chance the pc version will not be released simultaneously with consoles, even most likely wont be. But idk something just gives me a feeling that maybe things will be different, still though; we'll see.
I guess you mean only the recent ones, as in ignoring gta 1, 2 and london?
GTA 1, 2 and the London expansion pack have only been released on the PC and the PS1 (Dreamcast too, can't remember, google it if you're anal about it). The whole deal with the 6 months delay didn't start until Vice City, so yeah. You guessed correctly. I couldn't have been talking about a problem that didn't exist.
First of all - all GTA games have been released on the PC. Second - L.A. Noire is being ported right now and is scheduled for a release on the 8th November.
Just a side note-Liberty and Vice City stories never made it to PC.
They don't give a fuck about your 50$ compared to the millions they swim in from the consoles. I hate that argument so much.
Well hey, maybe they could use some of those millions from consoles to spend on porting it to PC. [sp]I swear I have so many good leadership skills compared to so many people who are actually in charge of stuff, but if I got in charge I'd probably fuck it so bad.[/sp] [editline]5th November 2011[/editline]
Just a side note-Liberty and Vice City stories never made it to PC.
Port those too! :argh:
Just a side note-Liberty and Vice City stories never made it to PC.
Those were spin-offs that weren't even made by the team that usually makes GTA.

PC is basically just the cleanup crew. Squeeze a few extra bucks before the moneytrain stops. It's an afterthought used to increase their revenue. [editline]5th November 2011[/editline]
Those were spin-offs that weren't even made by the team that usually makes GTA.
Leeds developed it alongside North. Leeds later went on to develop Chinatown wars and is handling LA Noire's arrival to PC. The Stories games were, however, developed alongside North.
Hey, get all that revenue at the same time! Woah, what an idea! Even more money!
By holding it out, they get a few console sales in with the game. I'm sure Microsoft and Sony enjoy that.
By holding it out, they get a few console sales in with the game. Wait, we still got more money coming in from the PC one!

Zavvy now says 23 November 2012 for GTA V PC FUCK
Zavvy now says 23 November 2012 for GTA V PC FUCK
Rockstar hasn't even given a date for the console versions. Why the hell would you trust Zavvy? It's a placeholder.
Rockstar hasn't even given a date for the console versions. Why the hell would you trust Zavvy? It's a placeholder.
Because it was July 2012 before, and it's changed to November. Zavvy may have recieved a date from Rockstar.
This isn't really worth arguing about, to be honest. At least in terms of time. There's no real way of telling, L.A. Noire is being released months for PC at console at release, Max Payne 3 is being released on PC at the same time as its consoles release. If they could do that, there's honestly no way of telling whether GTA V will be released simultaneously with PC. I believe there's no pattern to this, at least NOW. And we probably won't ever see LCS and VCS in PC, besides mods, because that, Advance, and Chinatown Wars, were all aimed to be developed for handheld platforms. All I'm saying is, whatever it is that they're doing, there's really no way to tell, until Rockstar says something themselves.

I just doubt it from their past history with GTA titles on PC. I'm looking at GTA, not Max or LA or RDR.

RDR PC won't happen until they have the development time and resources to work with it. I mean I guess it would make sense to still hold GTA V months after consoles, as a marketing scheme. I was just thinking of it in a general sense, as in a "why would they do that?", you know? But still, guess we'll have to wait.

My theory is that they need the PC sells on Noire and Max Payne has the fanbase they know they can milk from.

Not much else to say but the theory makes sense.
This. If gameplay was like this. (without the cartoony gta 3 style/and the musical shit.) I'll take a thousand.
So if it was GTA IV with Coca-Cola related setpieces?
Nah, without all those crap and that be kind thing. This is what i actually expected for gta 4 at that time, but it turned up to be a shitty console port that was barely playable with noticeable bugs.
The longer it drags out, the more people cave in and buy the console.
I am not a cave! [editline]5th November 2011[/editline] Speaking of GTA themed commercials
Speaking of GTA themed commercials
SafeAuto commercials are usually hilariously bad. One was nothing more than a man singing in the shower about car insurance.
mhmmmmmmmmm [editline]5th November 2011[/editline] Trailer song is amazing.
I'm confused, was San Andreas a state and Los Santos a city in the old game. And now we'll only be playing in Los Santos?
I liked the Coke GTA Commercial :V:
I'm confused, was San Andreas a state and Los Santos a city in the old game. And now we'll only be playing in Los Santos?
Exactly. Well, Los Santos and the surrounding country area.
