Whelp, no clue how to join the loners in TFW, I'm assuming it's by doing quests for this exoskeleton guy inside the train wagon.

Also, I'm having this weird thing where after awhile my game just closes but the process is still running in the background, it just doesn't appear on the taskbar and there's no way for me to get back to it.

If I use CTRL+V for error log or something all I get is:

I think you just need to raise your rep with the "loners" to about half of maximum.

Once you hit 1500 xp, if you haven't yet joined a faction you become a loner. Rep gains cause the loner traders to sell you better gear.

I've been helping out my Clear Sky brothers. I'm tempted to play with Freedom though just for the various goofballs they have hanging around the base. Plus it kind of sucks being enemies with *everyone*.

Well, I don't imagine that huge strip of missing land is a natural formation. Thus, it is technically a geographical anomaly, and may be referred to as such.
