Why is there a pack of snorks, two bloodsuckers that I can see, and a God Damn controller outside of the door of Yanov Station?! IS NO WHERE SAFE!
Try changing the armor you're currently wearing to be immune to everything. If that doesn't work then I don't know what will
Nope, FOREVER BRAIN DAMAGE.
What the christ.

I had a pseudogiant spawn in Yanov with SGM.
After enabling "more monsters" in SGM, pseudogiants and controllers have been popping out at me from behind bushes. It's kinda scary actually, especially if it's a pseudogiant because if you stay close to them long enough you aren't able to use any weapons, including your knife and grenades, for a certain amount of time. And they're also really good bullet sponges
Deadly anomalies, dangerous mutants, anarchists and bandits... None will stop Duty on its triumphant march towards saving the planet!

I ended up having to shoot Noah today, cause his mission to defend against the waves of mutants bugged out. :( It took forever to progress and eventually the door got stuck so I had to shoot him for the compass artifacts. RIP, Noah

Really? I just stopped them an hour ago on my Demoman playthrough.
I also need to make an unload bind. I'll have infinite ammo with my grenade launcher then, and it will be silent. :v:
Well tried to download RMA linked on page 84 and I keep getting
Expression : fatal error
Function : CStringTable::Load
File : E:\stalker\sources\trunk\xr_3da\xrGame\string_table.cpp
Line : 53
Description : <no expression>
Arguments : string table xml file not found ui_st_pda.xml, for language rus
On startup. I can only guess that I downloaded the right things, I just grabbed the easy gamedata.7z file instead of their installer because (according to google translate, people were having issues with the installer) Was there more I was meant to grab?
Guys, let me tell you the most important fact about the Zone you'll ever encounter:
Clear Sky has 99 Problems, but a lack of badassery ain't one.
I remember playing people soup and making it into their base. After being hunted by 2 librarian and having the portal guards killed I ran into the portal. Docent Susolov had no fucking pupils and was a demon. Cold wanted me to catch a pseudogiant so they could fucking eat it.
These are supposed to be scientists, instead I got fucking lunatics and masters.

The Zone is a silly place. It must be destroyed by serious men in red and black wooly jumpers.
I've checked the price of SoC on steam for a friend, why the hell is it still twenty dollars?

Curse you , Cone.

Because it's awesome and amazing.
So amazing that it's the most expensive one in the series!

Which Stalker are you talking about.
1-SoC: No CS: Yes CoP: Yes
2-SoC: Can't CS: At a base CoP; At the base
3: I wouldn't say small.
I've determined I'm making some new Levels for Stalker once I get home, it's about time I put my old 3D Max work and scenes into a usable format. Thorny. I'm going to be sending you a list of my current levels I have and will be working on, if you can use them I'll send you the files immediately once I get home as I remember you are after some stuff.

Well if he knew that twenty + twenty were forty he'd just say "forty dollas" wouldn't he

They don't need to hide, they are tanks anyway themselves. :P Except when you put 2 Gauss rounds into their face. That shuts them up pretty fast. :D

Twenty twenty dollars would in my opinion refer to twenty pieces of 20 dollars. This makes it 20x20 which in turn makes it 400 dollars.

Try using an RPG. Shuts them down just as well.
Speaking of rocket launchers, I'm thinking of doing a special run for SGM. It means basically adopting the characteristic weapons from a TF2 character (Soldier has Chaser 13 & RPG-7, Spy has the SGM's revolver & combat knife etc.)
However, I'm not sure which class to do. Sniper would probably be quite easy, too, but...Idunno, I gotta think about which class to do. Demoman could work with RG-6 and timed explosives :v:
Honestly. I've never actually got into using RPG's in any Stalker game. Not sure why. I guess I just put it aside and forget about by the time I ever get around to buying the ammo for it.
What would a Scout use? Shotgun and a Pistol and really light armor?
And a Spy? Pistol?
Yeah, it's irritating running [sp]into the bodies of all these squads he's sent out into a deadly man-made hell that he doesn't even understand. I understand Kovalsky might be new to the zone, but that doesn't explain why he kept throwing his men away.[/sp]
They are Special Forces, and since all had failed he sticked with what they had been teached. Which was creating one/two man patrols and listening posts to create a perimeter around their base. Simply having everyone fortify in the same building and having no idea what's going outside is giving the initiative to the enemy, and making yourself vulnerable to attacks.
Atleast, that's how I see it from the military standpoint.

I'm thinking of Colt 1911 and BM16 for Scout along with Leather Jacket, the Sigerous Mod's revolver which can be ordered from Yanov's vendor and uh...
RPG's are really great but also situational. I have one that I upgraded completely to have more reliability, damage, explosion radius and projectile speed as well as flight balance. It's great if I'm outnumbered by Alpha Squad jackasses, which is a good reason to carry a 3 kilogram heavy launcher along with five rockets that weigh one kilo each. I just need to plant two in a single detachment and the remaining survivors are either downed or unhealthy enough to drop with a few 9x39 rounds from my Vintorez.
