That said, I'm pretty surprised Etcetera managed to make twelve missions even if they were smaller side mission. Can't wait to see more of them as well.
in fairness, a lot of them were just variations on the theme of kill/fetch x. really, I was just trying to fill out space in the maps. It seems odd, for example, that you never see any other stalkers around jupiter factory.
Been playing Doom's mod with nothing but a scoped SKS and <150 rounds at all times, it's almost like I'm really blabry

It's because stalkans had some sort of bad omen vibes about the factory and nobody ever wanted to go there.

I support those opinions.

Yeah, but even the Yantar factory continues to attract stalkers throughout the years even though it's a well-known fact that you can easily get your brain boiled if the "Miracle Machine" decides to act up and release a minor emission.

That's something I felt Call of Pripyat needed. You either have these complex and missions with different outcomes, twists and whatnot but a simple assassination quests and such provide nice "filler" between the larger missions.
Yeah, but it then preceded to be anticlimactic as hell when you actually went there, any, despite it dominating the map, there were about 8 dogs of various types there.
In Swartz mod, there's some [sp]Monolith guys[/sp] and zombies sometimes roaming about in the area.

Yeah, but it then preceded to be anticlimactic as hell when you actually went there, any, despite it dominating the map, there were about 8 dogs of various types there. Hardly very exciting, even with the merc attack that showed up.

well, I've had some more ideas while playing TFW so I'll see what I can do

fun fact: a good source of names for stalkers is the NATO reporting names of soviet missile systems

Fagot. :v:
Zolja is most badass rocket launcher name, tho.
The best name generator is not being a western faggot, living in Eastern Europe and knowing russian male names by heart.

Make it a 1337 Fr4G v1D30
Dubstep coldplay in the background
And full of dutch camera angles.
You have to mix in let the bodies hit the floor
make it with windows movie maker
Minimum visual filter limit is 4.
It must have the really generic blue background and white text if it's in Movie Maker
Actually scratch out Coldplay then, since it would make the video good. Let the Bodies Hit the Floor dubstep remix it is.
I got ambushed by Alpha Squad when walking around Zaton.
Twenty fucking soldiers, more than half having .50s judging from the one-shot kills from across the map.
Somebody help me.
Anybody.

AN-94s, more likely. Every time you fight an Alpha squad you think they'll all have cool, high tier weapons. The reality is somewhat disappointing.

Get a grenade converter.
Two F1's.
Throw it in the middle.
Gain 20 kills.

And you either go in the blast or it leaves one left to kill you.
Just throw bolts at them, they'll go away eventually.
And you either go in the blast or it leaves one left to kill you.
But that's why you throw it full force in a 45 degree angle at least 180 meters away.
That thing is like a fucking V-8 missile in terms of explosive power.
And taking down one Alpha member is piss easy.
The double barrel with the tactical upgrade was easily my favorite weapon in SGM.
You could just camp behind anything and pop them off one at a time.

Not with NPC grenades turned on, you couldn't.

"Our grenades will blot out the sun."
This one time a bandit's grenade in CS changed it's flight pattern so it could land below my legs.
