I start a new game as clear sky. I leave to go to the fishing hamlet to go to the northern farmstead. A quarter of the way there, i get attacked by a pseudogiant.
Keep in mind, that all i've got is a PP19 and a Makarov.

You're given a bunch of money (7000 last I saw don't know if its different per faction) when you sign up under a faction.

I've never joined with the loners in TFW, so I could be wrong, but this is just common sense talking.

You're playing with mods, and I am unable to know every detail of every mod. So I just suggested to look around, without looking up the details regarding the UI.

If you run around and don't join any factions, you become a loner. I hink you can still join factions as a loner if you want to.

I tested out surviving an emission with the Marked by The Zone achievement, but I have a question.

You join the Loners faction by waiting. It doesn't really bring any decent benefits over whatever faction you start off as, though. As I recall, it takes a few ingame days, but if nothing happens, just wait longer.
Father Valerian in TFW is the leader of Defiance, not the Loners.
Sid is just a cookie cutter neutral trader/quest giver.
So does anyone know of any decent texture packs for Clear Sky? I was gonna start working on my mod merge again and I'm looking for stuff to put in it, I'm already planning on using AtmosFear.

Most FP S.T.A.L.K.E.Rs have the most requested links in an easily accessibly .txt file for situations like this. I have seen on many occasion situations where a question appeared between repeating refreshes and because it took me about 30 seconds to find the correct link, someone else had already beaten me to it :v: .

The EXACT same thing happened to me.
Except not exact, it was a chimera.
I noticed my companion stopped following me, heard shooting, went to see what he was-
And then pounce.
Be grateful it wasn't a fucking chopper.
Those fucking things kept flying through Yantar and Agroprom, completely fucking ruining me and everything I had tried to achieve.
I remember having trouble doing the document retrieval for Sid after raiding X18 in AMK. For some weird reason I couldn't sneak there during the night, although I took the route that worked in every other mod.
So I went and bought an RPG from the Bar. Yeah, the Duty vendor sells those things to me. Bought it and five rockets, hauled ass back to Cordon and blew both of those fucking things up. Used the last one to land a trick shot through the window inside the left building, killing Coloner Kuznetsov or whoever the fuck he was. I run in with my AKS74U and 600 AP 5.45 boolets, grab the briefcase and get out of there

I can't stop myself from sitting beside campfires with friendly passerby's. Even if I have an important task ahead, I'll usually just stop and talk to a few people around the campfires, see if they have anything interesting, or if they know of any new rumours in the Zone.
After that guy finishes his last strum on his guitar, I'll part ways with the group and run off, hoping to see them alive and well somewhere else along my journey.

I know that feel, many times have I stopped to chat with Wolf at the Warehouses, chilling because I know Master and Diodor have our backs. I just chill, maybe have a russian cigarette or some weed, drink some vodka, eat some "bread" and drink some more vodka to keep it down.
