edit: adding afew facepunch references
edit 2: oh for fucks sake sony vegas crashed so i have to redo half of it.

Campfires and bros.
would add that but it doesnt fit into the topic.
It does however, include a reference to barby flesh cock
edit again: Never mind, sony vegas autosaved my progress like the beautiful program that it is.
Going camping tomorrow with a few guys from my kayaking club.
Can't wait to throw up that campfire and listen to a guitar (one of the guys going can play the guitar, and plays stalker. I've heard him play the various guitar tracks before, so here's hoping he does tomorrow!)
Meanwhile, my PKM mercsquad bro has been wrecking the shit of Monolith while I've been dealing with people in Liminsk.

old-ass version of ENB series in SoC, heh. If only the SSAO algorithm was better :v:
Y'know, I've been playing SGM and the alpha teams are just dicks to me. They've appeared outside the scientists' bunker, and Yanov station, apparently waiting for me so I had to pop out the door real quick before it closed to pop off a couple of shots again and again to kill them all. It sucked.
But hey, hard is fun, right?

Did it quarter your fps?
Did it quarter your fps?
I went from 200+ (VSync does not like to work for me) to 25
I had to fight an alpha squad by that village in Zaton just recently, it was pretty fun although no where near worth the loot

I bet you like bandits! And I mean that in a sexual way!

Can I install Atmosfear 3 over SGM 2.0 without ruining my saves?

That was perfect.
Mutant bears would probably the coolest mutant addition for me. No idea how they'd function, though. I highly doubt however, that behavioural patterns of a regular bear would be applicable in the Zone of Alienation.
Kind of late here, but I'd prefer bears to be a wild card, kind of like Flesh. If you keep your distance, they're not instantly trying to ram you over and instead mind their own business, something more aggressive mutants like bloodsuckers and snorsks don't do. I like the idea of scaring it off with loud noises, for example firing at the air with a fast firing weapon with a 50% success rate. It'd give the situation a little unpredictability, making you wait and see whether the bear thought it's better to fuck off than attack or vice versa. That kind of nervous situation has occurred to me before in the three games where I'm taking cover from two chimeras and hoping they pass by without seeing me.
Those moments are the reason I play Stalker, because they get my heart pumping with excitement, having no idea what is going to happen next. Mutant bears could be this sort of an enemy where you're never a 100% sure you can predict it's movements. You know a technique that might save you from a fight with it, but if there's more mutants nearby all it does is alert them of your position and then you're even more fucked. To me, mutants never really seemed that big of a problem and if bears could be these fast-moving natural Hulks of the forest, capably of tearing through your freshly purchased exoskeleton with one swipe from their massive talons, I'd go for that, definitely. I'd try my luck and if it didn't work, I'd try to mow my way through with my shotgun of choice.
I guess I'm a bit too much of a daredevil to be in the Zone, but even if my playstyle gets me killed from time to time, it's a hell of a ride and I love it.

Knowing German is annoying here, but muting it makes it work :v:
Say, if I botched the installation of a mod I can just delete the gamedata folder and reinstall it, right?

Hey, I'm working on the next one. Want to be included? <3
I don't know why, but listening to Electric Wizard(the "mild" songs) while playing STALKER is pretty amazing. I love the vanilla soundtrack as well, but I was in the mood for some doom. It didn't really fit in battles, but just going around in the zone was just perfect.
I need to learn those Stalker guitar songs already.
So what, am I now known as the resident facepunch hitler rants video maker or something?

edit: apparently its all in russian so fuck it

I agree. Normally I'd steer away from playing music with a game like Stalker but for some reason Electric Wizard's Dopethrone works really, really well.

Defiance fucks got me stuck in the front door of the left building of farmstead, hell, these 'copters really drive them fucking nuts. I watched these left outside getting mowed down by helicopter and laughed.
My SoC file got corrupted. I hate starting over.
Hey, does anyone remember what was the name of the megathread before the "Ballad of Dimuha ninja"? I'm trying to find that one specific post. Oldbros know what I'm talking about.
How do you tame mutants in SGM?
How do you tame mutants in SGM?
I remember that you can find special "drugs" from the Scientists that allow this.
How do you tame mutants in SGM?
In the scientists' bunker there're special trader, he sells special drugs. Don't forget to read the description for it, though, or you'll know what happens when taming goes wrong. Also, number of available drugs depends on your rank, so be prepared to see just a single blind dogs' one.
In the meantime, I reinstalled SoC. But you know what, fuck Soup, I'm going Complete all the way. All the fucking way.
