Medkits (standard ones) heals you completely, but leaves you unable to use weapons for 30s and weights 5kg each, military and elite medkits now behave as first aid kits, they heal a small ammount of health and stops bleeding (bandages also heal small ammounts of health). Science medkits are the best way of curing blood intoxication and radiation poisoning, but the proccess takes some of your health away (half of it).
Combat gets more fastpaced because you can't just carry 20+ medkits and spam them while being shot, you gotta use cover and outsmart your opponents. Reduced the health of mutants and enemy stalkers, so you can kill then more easily, but they do the same to you and finally, reduced the max carry weight, not as low as redux tough.

check the file m_boar.ltx, it is in \gamedata\configs\creature , you're going to find the file for every single creature, including stalkers. Then just look for the Health attribute and change it.

I kind of want to play stalker again, but I don't know which game and mod should I play, preferably something that changes the gameplay and not just graphics
I've played OL, L.U.R.K.,AMK SE and Soup, but that was a long time ago and I don't know what other mods do you people play now

Dooms mod is fucking great and excellent, I recommend it, but I lost the DL link.
And besides, does anyone know how to make the weather random in dooms mod, it's so repetitive.

To get dropbox links to work properly, just click on the little arrow next to a file name and hit "copy public link". Otherwise it 403s.

Dunno the exact details, but its got something to do with applying an overlay to the player view. Seen a few mods with it.

Also, to anyone else playing SGM 2.0, are Alfa squads that overpowered? Haven't found any on my playtrough because I disable them, but going trough their files, they don't look that strong.

Only scripts. Basically how it works is, there's an index.php you have running on your server, and using AJAX it calls the update script every X number of seconds, so you can have it update every 5 minutes, or even 30 seconds if you want. The update script scrapes the posts off /b/, and replaces the old PDA entries in the XML file with the scraped data.
Could any modders here figure out if it's possible to auto update PDAs in-game? Or have any alternatives, if not PDAs?
I'll PM Garry to see if I'm allowed to scrape data here...

Nah, they are a bit tougher than average loners but they're just annoying as fuck. Especialy if they appear in masses around skadowsk....

They can easily fuck an unprepared player up. Their main strength is numbers. They have absurdly strong armour. Their accuracy isn't perfect, but they'll still hit you more times in a firefight than you got fingers. There are usually more than one active alpha squads and they always follow the player, so you need to keep moving if you don't want to run into them.

As I said earlier, adding new items of any kind will require a new game unfortunately.
Everyone should turn Alpha Squads on. They're half the fun of SGM.
so the guy who was doing models for WotW and was now helping me with some image editing stuff for Redux has gone off on a fucking religious mission for [b]2 years[/b] so i'm not going to be getting back the task I asked him to do any time soon

I must be looking at the wrong names on the script files then, because their resistences are inferior to most of their normal counterparts, including their FOV and view distance.
