Okay guys, I'm was playing Doom's freeplay mod, and I got annoyed by the annoying, repetitive weather cycle and I decided to switch all files from /config/weather/ of the Dooms mod to AMK 1.4's files from the same folder. Now when I try to load up a save, I get this error. I haven't started a new game, because I think that it's unnecessary, as this is just a weather changing modification.
Expression : it!=WeatherCycles.end()
Function : CEnvironment::SetWeather
File : E:\stalker\patch_1_0004\xr_3da\Environment.cpp
Line : 133
Description : Invalid weather name.
Arguments : ogsm

it is! have you seen how horrendous the zone map is hahaha

I have a question, why did you remove it, the 24 hr repeating weather system is just, plain bad and ruins the feel for me.
Take it. It stinks fish.
Author of this mod swears it's just a template. I have only read about it, though, I don't oftenly try to take a bite from piece of shit just to be sure it really is, well, a piece of shit.
There's one mod for Clear Sky, Reborn. That's the one asking to try it out. Wierdest shit ever.
fair enough i guess, but holy fuck it's awful

A screenshot might help, though. I heard there's a map for some location just slapped on Jupiter.
everything's just plopped straight on top of the CS/SoC maps, like the CoP levels are just rotated and placed on SoC Pripyatand the CNPP :P
I have a question, why did you remove it, the 24 hr repeating weather system is just, plain bad and ruins the feel for me
The SWO weather looked nicer, especially on FDL. At the time, I thought it had random weather as well, but guess that turned out to be bollocks.
tbh I'm really surprised that people are still playing my Frankenstein of a mod merge; I hope you understand that I remember very little of the actual internal workings of it anymore.
you should remake it Doomy, it's good shit.
I have persuaded some friends from school to play the S.T.A.L.K.E.R series.
I also told them to taste vanilla before they added sprinkles, but they just gave me funny looks

They'll just install Complete and then complain about how much they die on novice.
you should remake it Doomy, it's good shit.
In the future, perhaps. Probably when I get a new computer and learn Lua beyond "Hey, I wonder what happens when I poke my cock in this line of code"
Something to take into account with the magazine system. Will the magazines have their weight dependant on how many rounds are inside? You don't want to break the laws of physics by being overweighed by 2000 rounds, and having the weight magically vanish by loading them into magazines so you are able to sprint.

They aren't usually PC gamers, so I doubt they'd know the filepaths, and even then I'd just tell them installing mods is complicated as fuck
Until after they've played through the game.

Spilled my coffee, thanks.

I imagine round weight is maintained no matter where they are in the inventory, while magazines should probably have their own specific weight.

yep don't worry :)
Where do you find the FN Para in SGM?

The Alpha Squad leaders start to pack it when you rank up. Otherwise, you can try the merc trader at Jupiter.
their traders will still go "hey bro" every time they see you.
Every goddamn time I hear the "'EYYYYYYYYY 'BRO" I'm immediately reminded of this :

[editline]herp[/editline]
It's actually the same in Clear Sky : If you shoot a random Freedomer, the traders and barmen don't care. But if you shoot say, Ashot, Ganja and Yar will be hostile but no one else really is.
I like it how no matter if you're hostile with the bandits and/or mercs or not, their traders will still go "hey bro" every time they see you.

Well, they need money. Go to merc base, kill everyone just to trade - and not a single fuck is given by these traders.

I'd totally sell a guy a can of tuna too if he'd butcher all my friends.

If people were compasionate, they either wouldn't be in the Zone to begin with or they'd join Freedom. The real men will be out killing Chimeras with rolling pins and sucker-punching the Chernobyl-2 antennas just to see what would happen.
I'd totally sell a guy a can of tuna too if he'd butcher all my friends.
Mercs are utterly professional. They don't let their emotions get in the way of business.
I intended no sarcasm.

It's a shame you can't really be stealthy in stalkan. Would've been fun to try and get to the trader without being spotted.
