Does anybody have that video that was floating around a while back, of the guy who used boxes of LMG ammo for cover from the snipers in the CNPP? Best use of that ammo ever.
I'm thinking of using the Redux mod, but getting rid of all the creature modifications, since, you kow, I'd rather not die in 2 minutes everytime i venture out, given the other tweaks, it should still be a challenge, but less of an impossible one.

Cheers, I find stalker more fun when you're in a "oh shit do i have enough ammo left to take on x creature" than "oh shit, can i run away fast enough/shoot fast enough to kill it before i die." I tried editing the actor.ltx file to increase the carry weight (forgive me for somewhat cheating, but in games like this with inventories and shit i become an obsessive compulsive packrat) but yet it didn't appear to change ingame.
pahahaha seems the misery creator left cromm cruac's atmosfear testing script in the mod, so i guess you can change the weather, spawn blowouts, change the speed of time and the time of day in misery

For the most part I have absolutely no interest in misery, but I think some of the weapons look pretty damn good, namely the VSK. I honestly don't have a problem with Zaton being brown as fuck either, as long as Jupiter is still pretty.
does the mutant wave mission in SGM ever end? I got as far as the second controller but they just keep coming. Also is it just me, or do you have to quicksave and quickload to make the next wave come?

I have a hell of a time finding any bodies though, even when I've killed them. Ugh, just died too cause its really hard for me to tell wha level my health is (damn colourblindness)

I mean, if you're considering a "standard" HUD (I would love if the minimal HUD was an option as well), I wonder if it would be possible to make the "Minimap" and the NPC counter(hate it I wish it was scrapped) upgrades to tactical helmets so that when you start the game, you don't have any high-tech stuff like the minimap and even when you had money for them, they would be restricted to the (sometimes rather useless) bulky tactical helmets / exoskeleton.

Been playing Misery as a sniper. I'm actually doing pretty well just by going through with missions. Though I don't like it; I tend to want to freeplay outside of missions but here you're forced to do them just because there aren't any other ways to make money. Sniper and Recon seem like the worst classes to play as. You get the least amount of variety in weapons to choose from.

I wasn't sure what to do so I ran around in circles of increasing size until stuff spawned. Oh Zulu, you say some of the dirtiest things. That's probably why you got Degtyarev drunk, you sicko. Anyway, for some indescribable reason, I feel compelled to want to fight Indian Gavials in STALKER. I think replaying MGS3 brought this on. Also, I feel even more compelled to having the Patriot in there, despite how unfitting it may be.
