I have a feeling that GSC will bleed Devolver Digital dry, they'll beat them to the street, and another unwise publisher will pick them up again and the same cycle will repeat until one publisher actually hits the jackpot and they manage to finish the game, or they'll pull a THQ and rush it out the door.

They managed Croteam's behaviour(which got in such a state of despair after SS2 that it made everyone think that the company died) fairly well with an ordinary budget. Besides, the chances for an Oblivion Lost scenario have became fairly slim after GSC realized how the development focus should be set.

I think the game actually spawns some zombies outside the cabin when you enter since the game basically turned into Night of the Living Dead after going in.

I.E having bandits take over the Workshops from the Mercs would cause the player to pay a fee to simply look around.
What will be the highest difficulty level?

I mean, just look how badass he is. He can literally get bitches imported and exported for himself at a moment's notice is how badass he is. That kind of stuff takes a lot of respect and badassery to work in the Zone, so in all honesty, he's my favorite character because of it. That and he's pretty much one of the only Stalkers to single-handedly topple different factions at his pleasure. He needs to be brought back in the same way Strider was freed from the Monolith.
