Yes, tons of features have been changed/cut/etc, but the game's renderer, particle system, etc has stayed largely the same over the years until SoC's release.
I wish they would remake all the particles to be volumetric. Also they really need to update their sound engine really bad.
Any stashes in Dooms merge with a gauss rifle? I feel like upgrading my fire power until I can buy an exo.

God damn second bloodsucker in the bloodsucker lair in SGM. Took me 20 minutes of quickloads to kill it. Used all my shotgun ammo, most of my 5.45, ended up having to knife it. Doesn't help that they sound incredibly creepy with the sound SGM gave them.

And I believe X-Ray 1.5/1.6 supports volumetric particles..unless I'm mistaking something for something else. :downs:

If you have more than 2gb of ram, download the 3gb enabler to let CoP use more ram

I'm kind of new to modding in stalker so forgive my insolence if this is a stupid question. It's my understanding that for some reason I can't use previous saves with mods? As far as I can tell they work fine. Or does it depend on the mod being used?

Did you play vanilla, then install a mod and then tried to open a save? Or saved with a mod, then tried loading it with another mod? Because you cant do that. If you install a mod, you're gonna have to start a new game
The mod won't load if you load a previous save, that's why you need to start a new game

I love the pistol animations in dooms mod and the fact that they actually do quite alot of damage. The pistol anims just make me feel like they're more powerful and not fragile pieces of plastic shit. The textures and reskins for them too.
Apparently chickens in SGM explode. Cleared the sawmill of zombies, found a chicken on top of the tractor, shot it... now I have to clear the sawmill again...
