Killed Lukash earlier today, probably going to get Wolfhound next once I get out of school.
ALL HAIL THE ETERNAL MONOLITH

Trying to see what state the next patch for my mod is in before I stopped working on it. Goddamn it's a mess. For some reason, I figured it'd be a good idea to completely reorganise all the inventory icons. I feel procrastination's fist deep inside my ass again, and Skyrim's gentle hand caressing my genitals.
Welp cant wait for the next patch (if you end up finishing it) oh the glory that will come from leading a monolith squad to victory!
Woah, a surprising amount of people are playing my mod merge :v: Y'know what, the next update I was going to do was add a bunch of new suits (mainly faction-specific ones that are already in the game, but unobtainable). Tomorrow, i'll see how far I got with the update, determine viability of continuing, and if possible, finish it.
Dynamic weather Dynamic weather Dynamic weather Dynamic weather Dynamic weather Dynamic weather Dynamic weather Dynamic weather Dynamic weather Dynamic weather Dynamic weather Dynamic weather Dynamic weather Dynamic weather Dynamic weather Dynamic weather Dynamic weather Dynamic weather Dynamic weather Dynamic weather Dynamic weather Dynamic weather Dynamic weather Dynamic weather Dynamic weather Dynamic weather Dynamic weather Dynamic weather . Also Economy. [editline]18th January 2012[/editline] Also, can you add in the AMK options. Like options such as Random stashes, random stashes (rare), vanilla stashes and so on. [editline]18th January 2012[/editline] Also blowouts.
fast travel if possible as well. I hate playing as monolith and getting a job to assassinate a stalker. Then end up travelling all the way to the cordon and by the time i reach garbage, the stalker has been killed by some random asshole. fuck i hate that
fast travel if possible as well.
The fast travel is completely retarded in S.T.A.L.K.E.R : Call of Pripyat and frankly, a better solution for your problem would be to make an extra feature to the PDA, allowing you to contact your faction's mission giver from almost any distance away.
But yeah I was thinking fast travel as in Clear Sky. Talk to a guide and he takes you to a specific area of your choice, and the cost depends on where it is (as in danger wise), and how far away it is.
Well yeah, that's okay since you're paying for it instead of it being some kind of magic carpet that takes you everywhere for free. Speaking of which, it'd be awesome if you got random "guide" missions where you're tasked to escort some stalker group to "X" for a small fee. Actually, it would work great in Call of Pripyat since there's already the "What are you doing ?"-dialog with NPCs. I would love getting tasked with escorting a bunch of stalkerbros from the swamps to the Cordon or something akin to that.

But wouldn't it be hard to script? Then again, fast travel probably would be aswell. But yeah I was thinking fast travel as in Clear Sky. I wanted to play Cs, but then I remembered this.
Seriously, who the hell plays STALKER with battle music enabled. Battle music just takes out all the atmosphere. Real men fight with this music on the background. That song captures the atmosphere of a bandit getting shot in the head with a makarov and falling on the ground dead perfectly.

Shadow of Chernobyl is still the best STALKER game out there.
Hey guys, found this here. Looks a bit like LURK tbh.

Oh yeah, the Troops of Doom addon for Lost World Requital. The mod took quite a bit of content from LURK 1.1 when it got released.
The best mods are always in russian. Russian... why can't I learn that language...
Actually, my swedish teacher says that after you learn the cyrillic alphabet it gets ridiculously easy when compared to germanic languages. She also speaks russian so I think she knows what's up with that. Animations and some of the textures as well as the menu looks LURK-ish but the levels are brand new, haven't seen them anywhere.

Russian language is very easy to understand when written and/or converted to phonetic, at least from a Southern Slavic point of view.

I'm not sure about you Finns understanding it in when it's not in cyrillic, tho. Isn't Finnish completely unrelated to any other European language?
I'm not sure about you Finns understanding it in when it's not in cyrillic, tho. Isn't Finnish completely unrelated to any other European language?
Yep, it's more ugrilan than germanic or slavic. However, the pronunciation is about as rough as russian so it's not as hard in that regard. I've heard english people try to speak russian and usually it comes out a tad too soft to sound really russian. Then again, it has little vowels. Finnish has a fuckton of vowels. That's a tad bigger problem, but I intend to learn it at some point. Also, Google Translate is funny. Original sentence: "А так мод, самый лучший из всех." Translation: "Ja koska muoti on paras kaikista." English: "And because fashion is the best of all." I find it quite hilarious that fashion and mod are the same in Russian.

I seem to still be getting the same error fro Doom's Mod. It's annoyingly tenacious, as I've deleted and reinstalled several times. I will not give up until I live a day as some random merc asshat getting shot at by Monolith!
Just replayed Shadow of Chernobyl's Agropom Underground. Drank several bottles of Pepsi, and I swear, I was on edge the entire time. The fear doesn't go away
Doom, this mod is great! Would it be too much to ask for dynamic weather and perhaps faction traders?

The fashion part is because mod/moda also mean fashion, hence all the translation mishaps we encountered.
Well, I got a B+ for my work on the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. story.
Well, I got a B+ for my work on the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. story.
Was that one of the Paravin styled ones?
Well, I got a B+ for my work on the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. story.
Speaking of stories any idea when we will find out who won the Redux contest?
Depeche Mod?
I think it's still Mode :v: Foreign words stay like how they're supposed to be in most Slavic countries. Some of them, like Serbia, apply phonetic typing, but it sacrifices the ability to write words well.
