Yeah, Yantar was kind of a bitch. I encountered Vampire along the way but he was killed by dogs before I got to him. Then there was Assistant Semenov who I kind of fired at but I think he was killed by a zombie.
And I can't kill Sakharov since he won't open the goddamn bunker. Either way, I'm thinking of getting to Agroprom, going to Cordon from there, powerhousing my way through Garbage and penetrating Rostok from the South. I hate level changers that put me right in the middle of a horrible clusterfuck since you can get killed in seconds or less.

Thank you for gifting me a glourious day, which illuminated all of the glorious zone city of Pripyat as I moved down to the edge of our lines, holding back the heretic horde from our pure land.

But, as I move down the ruins of a once heretic city, I begin to fear that the enemy might overwhelm us, as dark clouds set on the horizon. Nonetheless, the Holy Monolith gave me strength to move onward, past the impure hordes of stalkers and Children.

When I reached the Sixth Checkpoint of Our Incredible Force I have witnessed a fight not yet described in our sacred transmissions, where many of my fellow Brothers fought valiantly against Children and the Heretics. It was a flawless victory, but I have not foud none of my targets within the rotting pile of bodies that was soon strewn across the road.

On my travels towards the South I came across a dying Heretic and decided to shoot him instead of sparing his life in change for giving in to our Holy Monolith. However, I soon found out I made the right choice, as it was Grisha Kutnesovich, a Heretic among the top twenty of them.

As I move onward I came across two familiar heretics. One was named "Smartass", the other "Vampire", the names kept ringing in my head as I filled their bodies from a distance, but I could not figure out where I rememembered them from. Further down the road, I found the corpse of a stalker rookie called "Clumsy". His name was familiar, too.

A fellow brother armed with a gift from the Holy Monolith itself is still guarding the Fence Checkpoint. He truly is the definition of a Monolithian.

I soon come across a converted heretic, guarding the road in the name of the almigthy Monolith.

Moving further down I come across a suprisingly empty barrier. Stories told by veteran scouts say that at this point in year the barrier is abandoned to celebrate the birthday of a fake god the heretics of Freedom call "Bob Marley". I keep moving on and kill it's only defender: a heretic called Cap.

On the way back home the Monolith has gifted me a heretic suit of armor. I wear it in disgust, but admire it's effectiveness.

However, as I reached the outskirts of Pripyat, I have realized that there is one great sin that not even Monolith can keep guard of. This has ended my travels, but I shall be back for much, much more.

Yeah, I can only edit textures. Sometimes the AMK forums has some cool models that I retexture but 90% of them look like shit.
They also have a habit of including and renaming textures that already exist in the vanilla DB, waste of space. They also almost never include proper bumpmaps, gah!

This is a good model, uses vanilla textures from default and doesn't include ugly stuff. To nitpick the new scarf he has on him is completely unnecessary because it doesn't add that much to the model and takes up texture space.

This is the guy I made my Duty retexture on, this is how every model should be, nothing crazy on him, fits in with the artstyle, and doesn't look like crap.
Is it possible to make the game use more model variations for stalkers? Having a combination of those, plus modified vanilla and regular vanilla models would be godlike.

I love this one. I love the Clear Sky battle vests and it'd make pretty neat models if you took the vests from Clear Sky but used them with different camos

The voice acting, however... I'm pretty sure Kingo and I would do a miles better job than the trench coat guy.

To be honest, ever since they announced they'd make their own voices, I had a bad feeling from the start.

Yeah, why nit pick about the cheesy intermission scenes when the mod's highpoint is the fact that you get to play what's pretty much a hand-crafted union of all STALKER builds centered around 1935, which is a great (and unstable) beta build to begin with.

Not to mention the re-implemented A-Life (Which will most likely be awesome) and the new levels.
I hope the blowouts will be good, and different from the other blowouts we've seen before. They should last long and actually remain awesome after 10 blowouts.
It also seems like they added quite a few new parts of land and objects to old maps. I can't really remember many similar locations have they recorded more than once in a trailer, aside from the Generators.
Also are those destroyed/defunct Generators in a forest based around the "Beautiful World" wallpaper?
