I really fucked up the earlygame. I killed a snork in Yantar after bing led there, which netted my a extra 600 rubles on top of the 1k I started with. I then spent it all on binoculars/radio/sleeping bag/knife, then realized I didn't have any money left at all for an actual weapon. So I went and took a task to kill some zombies nearby. A few re-loads later and I killed off the last zombie with my knife, and then I was laid waste by a group of snorks while the mercs at Yantar stood meters away doing nothing :v:

Took me a while, but I finally got enough money to buy a pistol and a few rounds. Wasn't long before a military helicopter flew ove rand murdered every single squad in Yantar :suicide:

I've only ever been able to properly experience SoC with mods, as the vanilla game (even on lowest settings) lagged to an extreme, making firefights impossible. Once I installed SoC Complete, it ran perfectly fine on medium quality. What the shit?

I have never been able to play Clear Sky as the mods made the load times so unfathomably awful (12 minutes long. Not even joking, I fucking timed it) but it ran to poorly without them.

CoP was the only one I could play on vanilla without any lag. I could actually put it on Highest quality, turn off sun shadow and anti-aliasing, and then it ran fine without looking like shit.

I'm saving up for a better computer. Nearly half way there with 450 bucks (keep in mind, I'm 13, money doesn't come easily.)

Looks pretty cool. I'll have to try it when I re-install the game. My brother took my copy for a while to do a play through.

Also, my existing rig is a laptop. That's why it runs like shit. And all of the stuff it wired in, so I cannot replace or upgrade any of it.

I hope to raise 1,000 dollars eventually, but that will take a while.
