Say, I just installed misery mod for the steam version of COP, and it just crashes every time I attempt to start a game, is there a guide on making it work with the steam version?
how high were the devs when they did this map?
I was half expecting one of the oompa-loompa songs from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to start playing.
Just played a bit of STALKER Online, had no idea what was going on because all the text is in russian, so I ran awhile, found an area that spawns some dogs and weird ant things. Started collecting dog heads which seemed to be a quest I had, then I found a friendly Russian who tried to help me out and spoke broken english trying to explain some things, he was taking me to places telling me how to make money (Selling Habar seemed to be pretty good money, Habar being dog heads) I can see it being a bunch of fun when it gets translated.

Haha, wow, never seen an error like that. You must've screwed up real good.
That CoP mod that spawns mutants in multiplayer has been updated for 1.6.0.2, I'm gonna give it a go.

Start by verifying the cache through steam.

Hmm. The thing I find with SGM is once I've got good equipment it's no challenge. I have that AK74 Tactical with the Cobra sight and all, and found about 3 SEVA suits throughout the course of my game. I'm collecting so much ammo and so many weapons that the only things I have to spend money on in weapon & suit upgrades (Which are thankfully expensive as fuck). But I never find myself in a situation I need to run from. Even the vent complex pseudogiant was easy. Apart from near the start, I wipe the floor with alpha squads. All I need to do is slap a scope on my AK (Which has all the accuracy upgrades now), load some AP rounds (of which I have too many) and pump a few rounds into each of their heads from a long range, and then crawl back behind a bush, reposition and do the same. Yes, once they're in range and have spotted me they'll rip me a new one but that's what quicksaves are for. I'd find if the only place you could save was Skadovsk, Yanov station or the Army outpost I'd be way more cautious, but it'd also be somewhat game breaking.

I need to play Clear Sky at last. Should I just go with vanilla, or are there some unofficial patches? And I'm not talking about mods, obviously.
I need to play Clear Sky at last. Should I just go with vanilla, or are there some unofficial patches? And I'm not talking about mods, obviously.
I think you should probably get the Clear Sky Start Pack with has AtmosFear, iron sight fixes and Sky Reclamation Project
Sounds good. Is it an actual pack, or do i download them separately?
It's supposed to be one single package. It's usually recommended for first-timers but if you're looking for an "authentic" but fixed Clear Sky experience I think this is what you're looking for. If only someone would remove the stupid enemy map blips... http://jumbofiles.com/lh6uylrnq5qs
Oh, thanks
